My vote goes to my sleeper and a player I really like. Likely a UDFA. But if the rams use the premium picks elsewhere and avoid a QB. I take this guy.

SO I've been checking out some stuff with the NFL draft upon us. I know the later round draft picks are never really a hot comm
odity. But I was wondering what everyone thought the 7th round pick should be.

I would prefer it be Quiton Spain OL, WVU

The kid could develop good on our line, plus he's blocked for Bailey and Tavon before. Whats your opinions?

Is he even gonna be available in the seventh? He looks pretty good in the video.

I'd be all for guys like Spain. I read about him a few weeks ago and seems like a good late round prospect. The Rams don't only need to upgrade their Oline starters but their Oline depth is in need of some upgrading too.

However, in the later rounds they just target talent it seems. They look for athletes that they think they can develop. I am not familiar with Spains SPARQ score. Last year was a Rhaney. I think McLeod was an UDFA, but it was same principle. They did pretty good with him considering.

It would be fun if Spain would develop and he changed his name to Pains. I guess that is more befitting a DT or LB though.

Who I'd want in the 7th is heavily dependent on who we've already taken. 7th round is usually developmental guys or special teams types. That said, I'd look at:

Xavier Williams of Northern Iowa, a 4th DT for our rotation. Former wrestler, hard worker, has improved each year.

I have learned & advised many times ....from many ROD posters here that this is "The Round" to easily find & discover starting Ram OL'ers to fill the many holes in our OL.
