I know it’s more fun to look ahead to playoff matchups but there is regular season work to be done.

The Bears should be salty - and probably getting Mitch back. He is slippery back there and they have an offense that can move the ball and a defense that can really bring it. It will be cold as hell In Chicago Sunday night.

The Eagles are that firework that seems like a dud. It seems harmless enough but someone is going to get their hand blown off going to grab it.

The Cardinals just beat the Packers in Green Bay. They believe in Rosen and are playing for their coach right now.

The Niners have the number one pick in their hands right now. Who knows what week 17 will bring.

The Rams need all 4 of these games. We don’t want to travel this post season.

Sunday night is going to be a tough one at soldier field. Its the last one I'm really worried about. We just gotta stay in front of the saints and there schedule is

Tampa ( one of only 2 teams that beat them this year)
Panthers
Steelers
Panthers

I think there is a chance the saints lose to the Steelers and split with the panthers so we may not have to win out to lock up homefield, But if we beat the bears then I think 15-1 is the final record. Unless we lock up home field and rest starters again week 17.

Rams have to give either T help with Mack.
Have to play some ball control either running Gurley or getting him tbe ball in space.
The outside runs may be doomed against Chicago given their speed on D.
Could well be a repeat of the Detroit.
A physical lower scoring game.

It’s been proven that no team can be taken lightly. Teams get fired up to play spoiler, especially division rivals.

However I agree that the Bears are the biggest remaining obstacle. The Cards and Niners are bad and the Eagles are falling apart.

Not into the faux fear thing. We should beat each of these teams because we are straight up better. I do respect the Bears the most since they have a winning record and Soldier Field gets cold, but the game in Denver might have been colder. It supposed to be clear, sunny, and 32 degrees according to a forecast I just saw, which isn't bad at all. Having said that, we are really good on the road and the Bears aren't the Saints. The Rams need to straight up kill the Iggles, because of last year. DEATH TO THE KING!. Cardinals and Niners will be roadkill.

15-1

Even though I bought tickets and travel to the 9er game, I hope home field is locked up and I’m watching 30 and 16 on the sidelines.

Mrs. Ramlock and I will be having a Happy New Year in Marina Del Rey!

Wooooo!

Speaking of the 4th quarter this is how many points our defense has allowed.

vs Raiders 0
vs Cardinals 0
vs Chargers 3
vs Vikings 3
vs Seahawks 0
vs Broncos 10
vs 49ers 0
vs Packers 7
vs Saints 10
vs Seahawks 10
vs Chiefs 21
vs Lions 3

Our defense gives up an average of 5.5 points in the 4th quarter. Throwing out the Chiefs game which to me is an outlier, that leaves us an average of 4 points given up in the 4th quarter. Talk about tightening up.

One point of concern is that most of those 4th quarter points came in 3 of our last 4 games.

As far as the last 4 games is concerned, sure anything can happen but over these last 12 games we have seen either the offense, defense, or special teams have poor performances and then watch the other units bail them out. The Lions game is but one example of that. I would be surprised if that doesn't continue.

Bears game should be a battle. If Trubisky comes back he could be a little rusty. He also can run which has been a problem for the Rams in the past. They need to get even pressure and keep him in the pocket. Could be some more blitzes coming.

Believe it or not someone asked about Mack in this weeks press conference with Wade. Paraphrasing Wade said it doesn't know why teams leave the OT alone late in games against Mack. He won't be doing that.

I expect Wade to run at Mack and maybe some screens. That DT Hicks is a beast too.

Even if we lose, I have just as much confidence in them winning on the road as i do at home. They have not shown us to be worried about away games, quite the opposite actually. Dont see why some worry about us traveling?

Why, that sounds like absolutely balmy Chicago December weather, doesn’t it?

No worries.
