ARROYO QUEMADA, Calif. (KEYT/CNN) - A boat and nearly 3,000 pounds of marijuana washed ashore in California. The load was discovered Sunday, near Refugio State Beach, just north of Santa Barbara. Federal law enforcement officials suspect drug smugglers handling the load got spooked and took off before they could unload the drugs.

Officers searched the area but were unable to find the suspects.

I'd be pretty pissed if I was the guy who put them in charge of dealing all that weed. Could've made a ridiculous profit off of that much dope, but no, they had to bail at the last minute. Dumbshits.
