The 2025 NFL Draft - Round 1 Thread​

Thursday, April 24: Round 1, 8 p.m. ET
Friday, April 25: Rounds 2-3, 7 p.m. ET
Saturday, April 26: Rounds 4-7, Noon ET

How to watch:​

You can watch the draft live on NFL Network, NFL+, ESPN, ESPN2, and ESPN Deportes. Tune in at 8 p.m. ET on Thursday, April 24 to catch all the Day 1 draft action live. Coverage of Rounds 2-7 will be available in the subsequent days on the same platforms.

This year's draft will take place outside the historic Lambeau Field in Green Bay.

This draft is starting to feel like the Tutu draft where McVay wants something for his Offense. Could be wrong of course but I'm thinking Offensive weapon is going to be the pick. RB, TE, WR. I've seen mocks that have Golden falling to us, but I don't think he makes it to 26. One mock has us swapping firsts with Pitt to take Loveland. That seems like a likely scenario.

There's talk the Browns or giants will jump the Steelers and trade with the Broncos to grab Dart. You never know.

I know trade up is unpopular but there is a guy I'd trade up for if he were to be in the 10-15 range.
Tetairoa McMillan in Horns would be unfair to the league

From what I've heard on draft podcasts, I'm not sure he fits Aaron Donald's "make sure they care" mandate they appear to be using now.

I get that, just thinking that he may just be a bit misunderstood and playing beside another Polynesian might help him

I feel really strongly that McVay won't be able to sit and pick, they will move up for Loveland if its feasible and he doesn't go super soon. Here's hoping Warren lasts to the Colts pick, because trading up to 13 will cost A LOT. Too much for a TE IMO.

A fantastic trade down that nets a 2nd and a higher 3rd would be amazing, especially if they grab Fannin with that 3rd.
