not sure if this will link to the thread itself. He made so many posts would be long to post all here. But the guy who made this tweet was an intern in the draft room of the Rams for 2011 draft. Mostly it's a trip down memory lane about how bad the coaches and front office were probably. But interesting to look back.

I thought Julio was going to fall to us.

I also didn't care for JJ Watt.

I'm embarrassed.

Goodbye.

What a weak WR class after Julio and A.J. Green. And we took two of them!! It was also quite a weak CB class. Patrick Peterson #5, Prince Amukamara #19 and Jimmy Smith #27 were the first rounders, then 30 other CBs came off the board before Richard Sherman (in the 5th round). Marcus Gilchrist went in the 2nd. Anybody else stand out at CB from that draft?

Funny, my buddy and I were just talking about this draft class. Some incredible talent and maybe 3-4 guys who will get into the HOF one day. I don't remember exactly who I wanted. I know we needed a WR but I was really okay with Amendola and Gibson being our guys. I don't know how much Julio would have helped. That year was an absolute train wreck. 10 CBs on IR. I thought Spags deserved one more year along with McDaniels. You can't fault them for the all the injuries.

Also, I kinda feel the same about McVay and Phillips as I did about them. A stud offensive mind and a Super Bowl winning DC that propelled their previous team to victory. That's why my expectations are so tempered. I've seen too much and know how fast it can go downhill.

Same.

I also thought it was hilarious that everyone was praising the Browns for getting 2 picks and bashing the Falcons for "giving up too much" for Julio.

That was an interesting read, even tho twitter can be hard to follow.

It is very hard at times. Especially if you don't see the "load more tweets" in the ongoing dialogue because there is a lot hidden in there. I went back and looked a second time and ended up finding about twice as many tweets on the subject than before.

I also really want to know what this story was because he just left this hanging and never went into detail lol.

I also thought it was funny he said the draft room was sitting there making fun of other teams picks. Really? You'd think they'd be a little more humble being A) professionals and B) awful at their jobs.

Also, this is the emobdiment of the Rams organization since GSOT days. Bad drafting is bad.

Quinn was incredible value in his first few years. Now he can't stay healthy. Amukamara and Quinn are both great players and had very successful careers. That being said, Quinn has missed 16 games over the course of 5 years where Amukamara has missed 27 in that same span. Did we make the right choice?
