Larry has been a pillar in AZ and around this league for the last 15 or so years...but 11 million dollars to sign a one year deal? That's crazy. There are teams he wouldn't even make if they couldn't see the name on the back of his Jersey.

His time has passed, I hope to see him move onto other things after this year...shit I wish we had 11m to throw at a player.

Yeah and the Fitz deal demonstrates the importance of the money for these guys. Which is why Big Whit is up in the air IMO.

You're not just buying production tho with Fitz, it's more than that. You're also buying veteran leadership, a safety valve for your young franchise QB and an extremely positive locker room influence. He's also insanely popular with fans who will literally buy tickets to see him one last time. 11 mill is a snip.

He's kinda like a TE now as far as his receiving skills go.

BUT

He's the only player I know in the NFL that can constantly throw Crack Back blocks and never get flagged for it. That has some real value.

Facemask penalties don’t apply either. I think I seen him do it more than once.

There’s a Jenkins pick that I vividly remember where JJ was covering and picked him off and about ripped his head off. No flag was thrown... I was livid lol
