He'll probably squeeze one more big @$$ contract out of some desperate team. There's always a team that hasn't learned that lesson recently enough to keep them from being stupid in FA. Sam will get a workout, blow their minds, and cash in. Yet again.
Well, the Whiners might in the market for a QB next year. Maybe AZ too...

It's tough, but sometimes you just have to think of your health. Ohh and then there's this little fact...

Total Earnings for Bradford through 2017 (through 8 seasons): $114 million
SOURCE: Sports Illustrated / Forbes

Hang up the cleats, get into coaching forget yourself a TV gig Sam!

Well, come on, he is like 29 years old....that is young. He is like Jim Plunkett: he will be leading some awesome team to the superbowl in the next 5 years...and he will make enough passes to be the reason....his knee will be troubled forever, but he has arm talent as good as anyone who every played the game.....Jeff George, Jay Culter get free passes all the time...and so will Slingin' Sammy.

Happy, now, for the first time, that isn't on the Rams.

That was what had me saying "bye bye Bradford". He could have redone his deal but flat out refused.

Then pouted when the Eagles made the move to get a QB. If he had played worth a shit they would have kept him.

There's always an excuse with Scam Bustford. But when healthy he's inconsistent as F, and of course it's not too often that he is. He's a tease and a coach killer IMO.

Of all of the QB's in recent memory Bradford has gotten the most leeway from fans. It must be becaus3e of the #1 overall selection because it certainly wasn't his play on the field. I can't see anyone bothering to sign him and I expect the Vikings to cut him.

Not even close on arm talent, he isn't even in the discussion.

As far as George and Cutler getting free passes I don't think so.

jeezus he looked good week 1.

Monday he looked like:

a junkie at an NA meeting

a nun at a porno convention

a liberal at a gun show

a paraplegic in a street brawl

a blind man at a strip club

a Nazi at the Nuremburg trials

in other words, he looked like he really wanted to be someplace else.

Pussy?
Really?

Inconsistent?
Really?

The guy has been jerked around unlike any other player I can think of really and has perform pretty admirably under those conditions.

Do you guys realize that he set an NFL record for completion percentage last year?

That would be an NFL RECORD.

Numero Uno in history.

I wouldn't call him a pussy and he has played for some horrible teams behind some horrible OLs. Week 1 was one of the best games I've ever seen played by a QB. BUT, he was obviously hurt Monday night and that has been his overriding story - unreliable/unavailable. I feel he has been over payed in relation to his production, and good for him. He did set a record for comp percentage, but that offense was not anywhere near explosive and it seemed like his YPA was pretty low, meaning he checked down a bunch (I am too lazy to look up the stats, but I bet they would bear that statement out). The Vikings certainly were not "good" offensively last year, mostly because their OL sucked which obviously forced Sam to check down a bunch.

Again, Week 1 that dude was on freakin' fire, unfortunately that was an outlier for his career, even when he does manage to get on the field. I got nothing against the guy but I do feel his is usually either hurt or inconsistent and often both. He is the consummate "coach killer".

Best checkdown artist at QB in history. Can't wait to see which team pays him next. Best of luck to them.

Who has a more accurate and stronger arm in NFL history?
Not Elway, Favre, Marino etc. not even close...and I have the game film to prove it ;)

Rogers, and then Rogers and then maybe Rogers and that is it.
Of course, I am not God, Adonai, and neither are you Mr. Les ;)

Thee who laughs last, laughs loudest.

I think... make that I KNOW some of you guys are still mad at Bradford for a lot of things that were out of his control like;
Having to deal with a new offense every year.
Lousy wide receivers.
Lousy o-lines.
Lousy offensive schemes.

It's a team game folks.

I'll bet that some of you guys are the same people that were all over Goff last year.
Expecting a rookie quarterback or a new quarterback or just the quarterback himself to wave a magic wand and fix a multitude of problems is not realistic.

It's just easier and kind of lazy to lay all the blame on one person, in my opinion.

Not to worry though.
I see it all the time. :D

Dude you are out of your mind with the over the top Bradford love.

It's not even a worthwhile discussion. Call in to your local sports talk radio show and see what they say after they stop laughing.
