Tennessee and Jacksonville suck, there is 4 win able games right there and the Texans are ok/good, but not great. I don't think the Colts are that good but they take advantage of their crap division.

I'd be happy if we still had ATL and NO instead of AZ and Sea.
The NFC west consisted of us San Francisco, Carolina, Atlanta, and New Orleans....how did that make any geographical sense?

I actually love being in the tough division. Give us a real OC and the Rams could run away with this group, and the beauty of the NFC West is when you can win it you are a legit threat to win it all.

As to the division strength I think you can subtract Harbaugh this offseason, and the whiners may screw that hire up.

If you win in a tough division like ours; you're a legit threat in the playoffs with a real chance to make the Superbowl.

Indy and whoever emerges from the NFC South... nobody really fears in the playoffs.

From a matter of practicality, I agree, it'd be nice to beat up on those teams, but Jax, Tenn and Hou do nothing for me as a fan, they are milquetoast. I hate the teams in our division and that makes the viewing experience more enjoyable.

Used to be the old Coastal Division. We were in LA and also the Baltimore Colts were in it. There was no Carolina then.

Don't remind me! My earliest Ram disappointment ('68-69) was at their hands. It should have been Deacon and Roman kicking the shit out of Broadway Joe in Super Bowl III. And stop with the "Ram's old Blue & Whites looked like the Colts uni's!" And stay off my lawn

I'm ashamed to say I don't have a clue what you mean by milquetoast. Even my phone was stumped. Kept auto correcting to millet oats.
