Guess my volume was low enough I never heard him. But then I'm not a fan of the ESPN crew so I don't usually even have the volume on but I did this week.

I heard him all broadcast! I love to see it. That is a great fan. He was not yelling anything inappropriate or profane. He was just supporting his team - loudly and passionately. And he kept it going for all 4 quarters somehow! I would have lost my voice at some point.

Can you imagine if every single fan in the stadium matched that level of intensity for the entire game!? It would literally be a frightening atmosphere to step into as an opposing team. I've never seen that though, at any professional sporting event, and suspect it will never be done. There will always be a % of "passengers" in the stands, casual fans, etc. And that is okay too.

He reminded me of this guy at a baseball game I attended that every time the opposing pitcher would draw back his arm, the guy would scream, "RAG ARM!!!".

But it seemed to work as the home team won.

I am glad no one pointed this guy out during the game because I can usually ignore surrounding sounds.

But if someone had pointed him out, I would hear nothing but him the rest of the game and shout STFU at him

I guess it's a good thing that we could hear that one guy all game, that means the entire stadium wasn't that loud.
