There not judging the ball flight properly. They are too close to the ball when it comes down and then hits them high in the chest. They should also get a little over to their dominate hand not down the middle of their body. Probably need more practice.

Lol, last week people here were trying to pin the loss on him, its unreal the agendas people have. Even when people pointed out he scored the only td the replies were "well anyone would have scored that". It's just sad.

At this point Im praying he goes to a new team after this year. Team is winning after a decade of suck and there are posters here whose first reaction after the game is to go talk crap on him or other players. There are truly some miserable people out there in Rams land who are unable to enjoy a win.
CAnt say I disagree much with your post. It is unreal some of the crazy thoughts these people have regarding Tavon. I’m a huge fan of his but he does need to get it in gear and disappointed he lost the punt return job. I look forward to the day he gets it back and returns one to the house to win the game. However you’d still get a knucklehead that would say “ his contract is to high:blah:” it’s annoying asf.

If Cooper continues to muff, I'm sure we'll be critical of him as well.

Difference, right now, is that Austin has a history of doing it.
He also has a history of scoring TD’s or returning it the the enemies territory.

Your avatar explains your bias, Wvu.

And I understand that completely.

I’m just trying to look at this objectively. Tavon has become a liability as a PR. He just has.

What he did in college is now ancient history. Hell, ‘15 is ancient history, tbh.

End of story for me.

Don’t think that Tavon gets that PR job back, Corbin. Ever.

Where has McVay demonstrated a willingness to tolerate mediocrity in his players? If so, I sure missed it.

Tavon has a mere 10 remaining games to impress the hell out of McVay.

Bias? I never said he should have kept the pr job. It hasnt worked out here and thats fine, hes a hard player to fit into any offense.....but ffs he was one of the only bright spots on an awful team with awful coaching. Blame the FO for paying him what they did, any player would take that kind of money if offered. But hes always been a team first guy and is not some off the field distraction.

My beef is when the TEAM loses like Seattle which was a TEAM loss, a bunch of posters here will single him out. Fumbles, dropped passes, the last play.....could assign lots of blame. Tavon gets shredded even though the TG fumble just as easily could have been the one that cost the game. Not excusing his drops at all, but he has become the whipping boy here for the rest of the team as well while they seemingly get a pass. Reading that crap gets old. If you're going to be objective, then be objective (not you, but the fanbase in general) and make everyone accountable.

Injuries happen bro and they open doors back up.

I will admit he has dug himself into a hole and deservedly so.

As far mediocrity I consider Michael Thomas suspension a sign of mediocrity and he was given a chance with our existing talent at WR. Thinking Tavon will have some important role to play in this season come weeks 11-17 somehow to secure our playoff run!
