Was going to say Quinn.

But; JL.

We don't have the LB depth and JL always suits up. To lose him would be a big hole.

IMHO, it's a team game at every position except QB. Lose your #1 and you're probably toast. Lose your LT or #1 DE and you're hobbled but not necessarily toast. I guess mainly because those other positions are 3 and 4 deep (2 DEs, 2 DTs, 10 DBs, etc). Usually, you only have your #1 and #2 at QB.

That being said lose Quinn or GRob and we're severely hobbled.

The Rams can't afford to lose any player. Lots of youth though and that's a good thing. I think if I had to choose one I would say Long. Look what happened last season when he got hurt. His presence and experience is very valuable.

I'm going McDonald. PFF (I know, I know) had him rated far and away ad the best safety in the NFL over the 2nd half of the year. No one can step in and be an enforcer like he's been playing in the secondary. And he does it in both pass pro and run defense, so don't pretend Barron could slip in there unnoticed.

Maybe not slipping in there unnoticed but Barron or Alexander can at least "pretend" to be that good.
honestly my first thought was TJ McDonald cause I love the guy so much but I don't see who on the Oline is gonna replace Saffold if he goes down - Garrett Reynolds? I don't think so.

I guess my only gripe is you can almost bank on Saffold getting dinged up and playing less than 100% or missing time as it is. I'd be less than excited to hear Barron would be starting for an extended period of time. The Bucs all but gave him away. I really wanna see what Mo Alexander can do, but he still hasn't set foot on the field.

Todd Gurley because if he is the player we expect him to be, we may finally have a running game that will allow the offense to consistently score touchdowns.

When thinking about my answer for this question,,, I couldn't help but be very happy with how much deeper our talent is now. And the talent is across the board. We have a solid group now. Young,,, but talented and solid.

I'll have to say Quinn.

We all know that there's nothing more crippling than having your starting QB go down.

Kind of like AP/Lynch. MIN and SEA are a different team without those guys.

I really have to stick with JL55 here. Clong, Quinn Brockers et all are almost interchangeable. The starting MLB goes out... you are fooked

just cant count on an unproven rookie yet..not when you have the horses in the stable like the Rams do. I would love to see TGII set all kinds of rookie records and lay havoc on the entire NFL... but until he proves himself at this level, we cant say whether or not we would miss him
