I noticed while watching the game, that it seemed like there were a ton of empty seats. I texted a friend of mine that was at the game and he said a lot left in the 3rd or after the 3rd. But it seemed from the beginning that it was really empty. I know it holds a ton of fans so maybe it was just an illusion, but damn.

I thought the same, I made that observation at the start of the game. We can only hope this monumental win will bring the fans to sell out next week. We shall see if winning fixes everything.

Can't blame the fans for being apprehensive about the team after how boring they were to watch last year. I gave up my season tickets. I didn't feel the price was worth my experience over the whole season. The game really is made for tv, you notice it with some of the delays in person. I don't have to deal with traffic, $9 beers, drunk pricks and piss soaked floors in the bathroom.

Winning should bring the attendance up quickly if they can start 3-1 or 4-0. It cannot be said enough how much of a PITA it is to move around the greater Los Angeles area during the daytime on a Saturday or Sunday. I live about 25 miles from downtown LA and at 4:30 PM it takes about an hour and a half to get home. That's with no accidents too. If I'm gonna deal with all of these things, it better be entertaining. Last year left a bad taste for a lot of people that were on the fence about become a Ram fan. Shouldn't be surprising to see that a perennial loser doesn't have the strongest fan support. I remember when the Pats were like that in the early 90s. Winning cures all.

After the fallout that was known as Jeff Fisher football, I don't blame anyone for not wanting to watch a middle school offense on the field. Watching an uncreative offense last season was so frustrating, I stopped watching football the last half of the season

Winning will attract more fans but the potential downside is that they'll likely be bandwagoners who leave the stadium at the first sight of losing like Patriots fans in Gillette stadium in the season opener

Might be worth pointing out that in LA this weekend, there were 2 college games, Trojans and Bruins that drew over 175,000, a Dodger game that drew 50,000 at the same time the Rams played, and it was over 90 degrees. The Rams did sell over 60,000 tickets.

I will bet 25,000 ROD $$ the Rams sell more than 60,,000 tickets for the Skins game after what the Rams did to the Colts. I have enough to make 3 of those bets:bueller:

You hit the nail on the head, and this is what peeps around the nation don't get.

Well at least LA fans have to make the excuses these days for empty seats. Was there a baseball game on? Was the weather bad? Has the team been horrible for a decade+? Has the owner not been present or noncommittal to the city for years? Well guess that last one doesn't count anymore. But was told all of those weren't good excuses for years. But feel free to use them anyway. lol. Hopefully the winning keeps happening and you won't have to worry about it anymore.

Keep in mind, in all the years we were in St L a lot of kids grew up as a fan of the Raiders, Niners and Chargers. The Rams moving back to LA means little to them.

I was out of town this last weekend and posted a gimme best offer deal for my 40-yard line tickets, and got ZERO responses....ZERO. I would have literally given them away.

Even for diehard fans on this board, the game had a "Let's wait and see" attitude. I ended up just selling them on Stubhub for 1/3 face value. Shame really.

I would have LOVED to have seen this baby!

Go RAMS!

It did look pretty sparse. Hopefully, some winning will put some butts in the seats and get that place loud.

On a positive note, that crowd could have nearly filled two Charger games.

I'd take your money bubba, but I like you. LOL

It'll be a lil more packed for sure...Skins fans travel well...

but if we keep winning like this...that place will be packed in December.

Was there a baseball game on?
Allegedly...unless you have some dodger channel...sports net something...haven't seen a Dodger game...rather the majority of Dodger games are NOT televised locally.

I wouldn't want to sit out in the open when it's 90+ degrees. It does look like the time before they went to St. Louis. Seems like college football is more popular in SoCal.
