Where does Barrett Jones fit with the Rams?

There are way too many videos and other formatting issues for me to even try to post this. Maybe we can get a little help. :ww:

Nah. That's too much. Easier to just go there and watch your computer bog down.

Short answer... at first potentially anywhere he is needed. Long term... likely center.

I see him as our Robert Turner, with maybe even more versatility (4 or 5 positions if needed, but mainly either guard or center), and then Wells eventual replacement.

I think this year he's definitely a depth guy.

He needs to build his body to be an every day NFL player.

He's got all the skills so he'll find one or two homes somewhere. We'll see where he plays in training camp. I think they might wait until after the season to find out which position they can get in FA or the draft and then put him where they need him the most.

Its early but I have watched Barrett for many years here in the middle of SEC territory. I agree with CGI here on it would be best that Barrett rest and builds his body for his rookie season. He stands over 6-5 and goes about 305 pounds. Fisher like tall centers over the years. Barrett IMO has future all pro Center stamped all over him.

Fisher & Boudreau have said Barrett is interior OL material.I would also say that presently he is a very smart finesse blocker who fits best @ OC & OLG. I see no reason to rush Barrett into serious action early with the OL cadre Boudreau has assembled. If Barrett's foot needs additional time to get fully healthy then best to PUP'd him until the bye. Usually by this time the Ram OL is missing many healthy pieces. If Wells remains unbroken & finally starts playing like he was when he was a Packer then fine if not then Barrett could jump in. Center Tim Barnes has been a Ram since September 2011 & was active for 15 games last season should be able to hold Barrett off until Barrett gets use to what the NFL is all about.

If Barrett is healthy enough to work out and get some training camp action and pre season I would expect that the 6-2 300 pound Wells will find it hard to fight off a younger bigger taller Barrett Jones from being Sam Bradford's starting center in 2014.

I see this too.

The most important thing is for him to get healthy and in shape before they demand anything from him. We will want him for the long term I think.

There's even a Twitter handle commemorating that site's unreliability.

Once it gets cached I guess its not all that bad. I would have to guess the bounce rate of that site has to be around 90%
