SR4 seems a bit over the top, i know thats their style, but its seems a little much for me. If i wanna fight aliens, im playing Mass Effect not Saints Row. But....that being said....i will still buy it

I 100% agree. SR2 was amazing, my favorite of the series. You were a gangster, shooting up rivals with a friend. SR3 was "over the top" and I didn't like it at all. SR4 is extremely over the top but it all takes place in a virtual world created by aliens. It's exactly like the matrix. You jack in and you have super powers. Aliens can take over cops and pedestrians on the street like Agent Smith. It's ridiculously similar. I'm kinda enjoying it although vehicles are just about pointless now.
