Bad luck. Teddy Bridgewater getting hurt made that an unwatchable game.

I'm down with the Thursday game being the first off a bye it'd cost the league about two or three of them on each end of the season, but the current system puts too much stress on teams to play on that little rest. The blowouts don't bother me much unless it's us getting blown out.
They might change that in conjunction with making the schedule 18 games and dropping two preseasons.

It happens on a Thursday and it's a night game. Both are killers for me. If I was on the west coast it would be fine but I just can't watch football that late at night.

Yeah that's one of the reasons the blowouts don't bother me that much ,most of those games by halftime ,I'm snoozing .

Thursday night games should only follow a bye week for both teams. I am sure it would be tough to schedule but that is how it should be done.

I know what you're saying here in terms of star power, and you're probably using some hyperbole on purpose here :)......but the only thing that makes an NFL game unwatchable for me is officials throwing flags on every other play. I love the game and with my lifelong ridiculous work schedule it's a treat whenever i can sit down and watch an NFL game. Even between two bad teams with no implications whatsoever.

Bad luck. When the scheduled these games, the thought was competitive division matchups.

No one expected the Steelers/Ravens to be a romp, as most games b/w the 2 have been close.

Tampa was expected to be better, and even if it was a blowout nothing near the case of 56-4.

Minnesota was thought to have Adrian Peterson in that game but, well you know.
