They gave Chirs Long $48 mil for 4 years.

Quinn is worth much more than Long.

I doubt it happens until AFTER NEXT YEAR, so not really even on the radar yet

His deal includes a 5th year option, which would be 2015 I believe, and anything beyond that is what they would have to settle on.

jjab360 being a homer:
I hope Quinn's agent is sensible and doesn't try to reach for the sky.
I think his agent will think that if he can get the sky somewhere else that would be the sensible thing to do. :D

But I agree, I think all Rams players should give us a discount.

I don't wanna think what he's gonna bring if he keeps it up. Maybe a new high for a defensive player. If he breaks 20 sacks next year he'll bring scary money.

Paydays like Quinn is gonna get...is all the more reason to keep drafting well,BPA etc...
Guys like JL,C.Long are going to be hard to keep around and paid as our young studs develop and (hopefully) become difference makers in the future,so hopefully Snead can continue to find talent in these drafts.

There is no way they can let Quinn leave the Rams.

He is the best defensive player we've had in 40 years.

Maybe in a couple years. I think right now he is in prime Leonard Little territory.

LL was never a candidate for DPOY.

He was not as good against the run as Quinn. And never had as many sacks as Quinn in a season. And LL played with great offenses.

Quinn is very special. He is HOF talent.
