What would it take for you to stop watching the Rams?

It's been almost a week and I'm still seeing Facebook pages and news networks dedicated to "Boycotting the St.Louis Rams". Which, if you think about it, is pretty good considering this country's attention span. I've gone through hundreds of comments and posts and articles explaining why they won't support or watch the Rams EVER again. It got me really thinking about it. I mean, people still supported the Ravens after the Ray Lewis and Ray Rice thing. People supported the Vikings after Adrian Peterson was suspended. I really believe that if you're a true fan of a team, your mind, heart and dedication would never allow you to do such a thing. Obviously this is just my opinion but it's just baffling how many people have actually gotten behind this idea. I can't even think of a scenario, aside from the NFL disbanding altogether, that would actually make me wanna stop watching the Rams. Thoughts?

I cheer for the name on the front of the jersey....I mean, I was hot when they traded Dickerson, I was really hot when they moved, so I was...a lil detached. But the 96-98 seasons brought me back in, all the losing just made me want my old team back, and I pulled for the away team. LOL...Dick Vermiel really brought me back, boy I was hot he retired...Martz tried..Lovie tried...but still....So, I'ma Rams fan for life...

1. Moving the team to anywhere other than St Louis, just the Englishman in me, I don't believe that a team should be able to move on the whim of an owner, I realise that's hypocritical of me given there Cleveland/LA/St Louis history, but when I became a fan I just fell in love with Faulk and Holt and Bruce and Warner, I knew nothing of the history.

2. Jameis Winston, although I'd hope that if we did draft him we'd do a more thorough investigation into the accusations than either his school or police force decided to do, so even then I'd probably give Fisher/Snead the benefit of the doubt.

Don't know if I could honestly say. I have stuck with them over some pretty screwed up times over the past 47 or so years. It would probably be more the NFL becoming more unwatchable. I don't think I could watch another team over my Rams. I would be more likely to watch more college football and give up on the Pro level.

I wouldn't mind deflecting the negative connotations the Rams have onto the Redskins right now. I don't think it would be that hard either. All we have to do is reignite the name controversy.

Over the past decade+ there have been many landmarks of failure that caused me to decide to stop watching - but I never did stop so I can't predict what would finally cause me to do so.

The horns are sacred. That might just do it. Krap wouldn't do it for me but hiring Harblow wouldn't help my love. That would absolutely suck watching him on the sideline. Maybe even more than watching Linny.

The only thing that has made me even consider it is if the team signed Michael Vick. It would also be very hard for me if we drafted Winston. Fortunately, neither is likely.

I suppose if the Rams had become the St. Louis Stallions or whatever and completely cut ties with the Rams history, name and colors, it'd be a bit hard to follow them. Especially if the name wasn't freed up for an eventual expansion team a la the Cleveland Browns. But if that was going to happen, it would have happened 20 years ago.

Wouldn't be the Rams then so.... Interesting thought though as I would probably stop watching the NFL all together. For me it is all about the history and growing up with the RAMS. They are bigger than the sport itself in my eyes. So no Rams - IDGAF about the NFL at that point.

Nothing will stop me from watching them. If you are a real fan, you support your team even if they manage to go 0-16 for a decade. Real fans love their team and that relationship with the franchise can be shaken at times but never broken.
