Look no one is more pissed about losing yesterday than me, it sucked no other way to put it. Ruined my evening as I'm sure it did the same for you all. However....

What if I told you that when the team was 7-4 and coming off a 3 game losing streak, they'd go on to win 5 of the last 6 games and win the NFC West, would you have signed up for that, I sure as heck would have.

We can hash out all the plays yesterday till we are blue in the face and it wont change the outcome, sadly. I did agree with running it 3 times there at the end, the same folks wanting to pass it were the same folks who criticized the pass play late in the 1st half....what's done is done.

And losing yesterday has no bearing on what happens in the playoffs, yeah if we had won we are #2 and play at home till the NFCC but there WILL be upsets in the playoffs so who knows where, and who, we will play.

I wont watch any of the talking heads this week b/c I know what the narrative will be. However that narrative can and WILL change very quickly after Monday night when we beat the Cardinals on the first ever MNF Playoff game (I'm not thrilled about it either but lets embrace it, the players probably will love it).

What doesn't kill you makes you stronger, and the game yesterday didn't kill our season. I believe it will make this team stronger....

Go Rams and lets beat AZ!!!

Yeah is what it is. No one I hate losing to more than the Whiners but in the end this game was basically meaningless since the Cardinals lost. Sure knocking them out would have been cherry on top of the season but in the end it doesn't matter as long as we take care of business moving forward. It's a new 4 game season. Nothing that happened before today matters now.

McVay has yet to show that he can make the proper adjustments to stop the bleeding. Plus he never puts teams away like yesterday.
Shanny makes him look like the coach on the Waterboy

That was the 1st game he has EVER lost when leading at halftime so not sure the putting teams away comment is valid....

I dont like it when the Rams lose, especially to the 49ers but maybe its a blessing in disguise. Had we won yesterday we would've had to win 10 straight. Winning 4 straight is more likely. Not saying it's gonna be easy just a cup half full kind of thought.

If you watch every game , they seem to let teams hang around. Eventually that catches up to you.
Running up the gut 3 times and relying on a D that was gassed is a prime example. Roll Stafford out and either throw it short or run it and stay in bounds. Element of surprise wins a lot of games. Too predictable and Shanny has him figured out.

Just hate losing to the shitters. 12-5 and a division title isn't a bad consolation prize tho. :sunglasses:

It matters... It matters because you likely have to go to GB on a short week and play a well rested Packers team if you want to make it to the SB vs worst case playing a Packers team that is not coming off a bye a week later. That's huge. That bye really freshens a team up and you can often see the difference. We saw that last yr.

Thats easy Monday Morning QBing.

Had they thrown a pass and incomplete or INT people would be besides themselves. The D stepped up in Baltimore when needed, no reason to think we couldnt stop Jimmy G going 88 yards in 90 seconds....we should have....

Jet sweep or trust your QB that you mortgaged the farm for to throw a short pass or run it. Game over if you get a first down. Yea I thought there was no way they’d score either , but they made it look easy.

The Rams have been terrific at 'putting teams away' under McVay.

Be angry, frustrated and disappointed ... I join you.

However, what you wrote is not close to being accurate

I think someone mentioned this elsewhere, but we just unleashed the Shitters on Dallas and possibly the FudgePackers....while, IF we take care of business, we get a trip to South FL and Tammy and Co....I hope the Whiners stopped into the Rams locker room to get a look at the NFC West Championship gear....

Yeah, yesterday sucked, but we still won the strongest division in the league (40 wins, only div with 3 teams at 10+ wins). Also it was much more of a must win game for the 49ers than for us and I think it inevitably plays in the equation. We were already in the playoffs. Everytime we lose, the sky is falling on ROD.

We're ok. Let's make Kyler pay for the 49ers insolence.

Only way this happens is if the eagles or niners win.

Yes, I mentioned this in a satirical post that McVay did this purposely, when we were up 17-0.

I also ended my post with his bringing the REAL offense and defense back for the rematch in SoFi in the NFC Championship and beating them 45-0.

My keyboard to God's ears.

Yeah I didn't like conceding there. But the pass pro was overrun at that point. Making them drive vs our defense... Sometimes that happens and when it does you gotta get the stop.

Same with the offense getting that last possession. This was a team loss.

But all that matters is whether the Rams grow from this. They're a hell of a team. If they emerge from this loss with better pass pro and some better back end comms they will be stronger for it.

New season and our team is hungry and ready to go. Every game this playoffs is gonna be a dog fight. Rams gotta shake this one off and get busy.
