Thanks @551staaa

I'm sorry. remind me. What are the metrics for this rating again? I remember thinking it is pretty solid.
So, I was looking at NFL statistics through week 7 yesterday, and it occurred to me that you could get a good idea of the health of each team based on their position in several key categories. Those categories are: Total Offense, Rushing Offense, Passing Offense, Scoring Offense, Total Defense, Rushing Defense, Passing Defense, Scoring Defense, Kicking (Total Yards), Field Goals, Kick Return Yards, Punting (Net Avg.), Winning Percentage, and Turnover Ratio. I compiled each team's rank in each of these categories, giving each category a weight of 1, and totaled up each team's results and ranked them. I also compiled offense, defense, and special team numbers and ranked them individually.

We beat the bad teams, as a good team should, and we also beat the #6 and #9 teams. We should have beat the she hawks (5 turnovers), and will beat the Skins when we next play them

Any power ranking that doesn't have Cleveland in dead last is suspect to me

Well Boinifay, I guess that means we'll find out if the Rams are contenders or pretenders!

Rams are improving & they should be. The Rams have several units that have a ton of room to grow & improve. The poorest improvement has come from the TE's.

TE's as a functioning part in the passing game has been on left support. McVay traded (9/2/17) for his former 4th string Derek Carrier who had rode the PUP list for a long time....for a 2018 Rams draft pick. DC is a veteran TE who started as a Raider then 9er then to the Skins & now a Ram. DC is working for 1 mil this season & will be a UFA in March. DC has only 3 catches for 38 yds for 12.7 yds a catch. DC is a veteran 27 yr old with 5 seasons under his belt.

Tyler Higbee is the starter with great size @ 6-6 260 lbs is 24 & in his second season He was a Snead 4th rd selection last yr. Thus far has only 14 catches for 179lbs @ 12.8 yds per catch Zero TDs! To me he looks like a the all pro KC TE Travis Kelce clone as far as physical looks but that's about it.

Gerald Everett is a serious pass catcher but his pass blocking is MIA most of the time. If McVay ever get this rookie TE going he will be hard to stop a smaller type TE who can line up anywhere. I sure wish er could move to let him see more action in the passing game but I understand that Higbee is improving in his run blocking & has an important part in the Gurley run game.

The long ball in this offense is also MIA. Sammy Woods/ Josh Reynolds & Mike Thomas are the receivers who are best in this area. I would sure hope this part would improve too. if we can get these two units working the Rams will be a legit contenders;). @bubbaramfan

I wouldn't be surprised to see Lance Dunbar used as a TE (if and when he is activated).
