Allen Robinson before this insane Tyreek Hill deal came down.
I'm just hoping Mr. Robinson doesn't demand to renegotiate or something.
The rest of the NFL has gotta figure out they can't copy what the Rams do.
I know it's a "copycat" league but they're all forgetting.....

I have to wonder who makes those decisions for the Phins. The owner, coach, GM? Clearly it couldn’t be a consensus.

Right. I guess they are trying to compete with the Bills or something. And who is going to be throwing it to Tyreek? Tua? He's got a noodle arm and he is injury prone. Good luck with that.
I doubt if he's even on the team next year.

Word around the league already is that they're PISSED with Miami and this will NOT become a trend

While Adams and Hill have moved on to record contracts, much like the Jamal Adams contract or the Todd Gurley contract, the league saw that and went in the other direction.

I think teams will look at their contracts and since neither of them will have anything remotely like Kupp's truly amazing 2021 season, there will be a backlash against those kinds of contracts.

Moreover, if Aaron Rodgers gets the Packers to the playoffs without Davante Adams, that shit will be OVER.

Up to $20M for a top shelf WR is a stretch, but fine, but $30? Under the cap? That's beyond ridiculous and it will be awhile before we see more of those.

Also, not that anyone asked me, but the NFLPA is far too influenced by QBs because if they had more OL, RB, S, and LBs among their leadership, they'd be talking with much more energy about "max contracts" and limiting QB pay so that the wealth can be shared among ALL the NFLPA members.

I guess this was the overreaction to the last CBA where rookies were overcompensated if they were 1st round picks, especially high first round picks, but they gonna have to adjust this mess again.

This way they can’t ask the coach to loss a game for $100,000 each. Those draft picks didn’t mean as much to them in the end.

Yeah, Miami paid it because they could afford it (Tua on cheap deal). Not many teams can do what they did.

They need to figure something out. They already have a $50M/yr player.

Well if you're an organization that has been labeled as one that "pays head coaches to lose", you gotta pay a little more to get good talent.

When is the world going to realize there was only one player worth giving up this much for, and his name is Matthew Stafford

The Raiders are paying 27 mil for Carr and Adams on the 2022 cap. Adams cap hit surges to 30 mil in 2023 and Carr is a UFA. If they lock up Carr for 5 years with a low cap hit in year 1 (15 mil), they will be paying 18 mil more for the 2. If the cap goes up 20-25 mil it's a wash. The next year Adams cap hit acrually goes down (21 mil), then it's 40 mil in 2025 which means he'll either restructure or be released.

I think we should start a Gofundme page for the Stafford family because it’s going to be tough for them to survive on 43 mill per year

In this day and age, it really is stupid to pay a head coach extra to lose. Scott Linehan has been available for years, and he'll do it without any additional compensation.

Juggs,
I assume your use of "AR" is referring to Allen Robinson. So let's see what numbers Tyreek Hill can put up without Mahomes and now with "Mr. Noodle Arm" himself, Tua T. No doubt to this Rams' fan that A. Robinson is going to ball out with Matty Staff pitching him the rock. When you look at the absolute junk for QBs A Rob has had to play with it is staggering that he has performed as well as he has.

I am going to predict right here and now that AR will have better numbers than Tyreek Hill next year. I am also going to predict that the 'marriage' of T. Hill and Miami will be an extremely volatile and a short-lived one.
He's gone from there in 2 years or less.....

I fully believe Robinson will have a year for us. Tyreek is special. But, you are right. Tia sucks. But, that may be a temporary issue.

Tua did well even when ownership wanted them to Fail.

You know who Tua got his first win against as a Pro? I would have said that as well , but The NFL is a tough league & it’s not just the QB.Look around the NFL & it’s QB’s.

Marcus Mariotto just got signed to start ? If the question is did The Rams do well signing Allen Robinson - the answer is yes. Especially for that price.
Da Bears Fans aren’t happy.Jalen RAMsey deserves credit though as well as Les Snead on some of these moves. Who knows if the becomes a GM. He is a well respected player around the league.

First win lol.

When your defense and special team essentially scores all 28 points and you don't do one drive over 30 yards and you win.

Great job.

A win is a win even if he didn’t pass for over 100 yards. Thanks David Long.
He at least knew who to pick on at the time.
