I really feel like too much emphasis is being put on a 2 n 3 runningback system. I feel like STACY should be receiving more touches.he's the route of guy that gets harder to take as the game goes on.gets better as the game goes on. Am I alone on this

I like the 2-back system. Fresh legs are a good thing when the backs are equally talented.

How the hell did I miss that
It wasnt very clear. At first it seemed like he was being punished for fumbling but later on they disclosed Stacy was suffering from a calf injury

Plus it provides mucho protection from an injury crippling the offense. A lot better if the team has multiple RBs it will run in any situation.

Yeah - they only did a quick mention of it during the game. Easy to miss.

I prefer the RB by committee approach. It's a better plan really. The team doesn't take a step back when, like today, the "starting RB" goes down with an injury.

Fresh legs, variety of running styles to throw at a defense, 3rd down specialist,,, the list can go on.

I think we can all see that the NFL is adopting this approach more than relying on one bell cow back like they did back in the day. RBs aren't valued nearly as much now as they were in the past.

I like the committee approach too but when he's killing a team, feed him the ball. 12 carries against Dallas when he's gnashing them makes no sense IMHO.

Cunningham looked like the best RB on the team today. Dude was running like a Boss.

They were too busy blowing the Iggles players to even notice.

Most of the time in blowout games, announcers talk about what the losing team has to do to get back in the game, but they kept going on and on and on about what the Iggles had to do finish us off. It was annoying to say the least.

I wonder if they are explicitly told beforehand which teams' fans they have to appeal to or if they just have an understanding that apparently nobody gives a shit about the small market teams.

Stacy would be the guy if not for his injury history. Fish wants to keep him healthy. If you look at Fish, he's always liked to have his horse. He's gonna keep looking until he finds him.

My guess is that the back that ends up being his guy is Mason. Mason will also bring big plays when he gets to the second level with his burst.

Probably not but I'm not with you. Not only did he get injured in the game, but as I've repeatedly pointed out, he is always getting nicked up. I'd rather have him get fewer carries and stay healthy than lose him for significant time.

Stacy is a good all around back. But he's thick and not very elusive. He gets hit. He gets hurt (a lot). Great to have the other options to step up. The backfield isn't the problem.

IMO Cunningham looks a lot better when he is "the guy"...as a change of pace guy he looks pretty average.

I thought Stacy looked like he got his bell rung couple of times before the fumble. All 3 guys had a few plays that were good gains and adding the production up was pretty good from a team stand point but FF players have to hate this committee stuff
