It was reported last week that the Rams wanted to roll with Littleton and Barron on the inside

A statement was made about how we need OLB and ILB help in the draft.

I'd still draft Griffin. He's a special talent who can play special teams before starting. And with Barron's injury concerns last year and the rise of Littleton as a potential starter, we need a special teams ace who can spell Barron if/when he's injured.

Littleton can play the run, but I am worried about him in pass coverage.

Interesting . He's my favorite later round ilb (if he can play there) .what don't you like ?

Played a lot as an EDGE and wasn't very good there. Didn't get to see much of him in coverage. Wasn't blown away by his tape. I like guys who flash. He didn't for me.

I would have expected Littleton and Ekuban to start even if we had a 1st round pick. To me the question has been were we going to keep Barron and go with Littleton and Barron as our Inside guys...

I still think that moving on from Barron saves us money and would potentially improve us in the run game...
The way I see it, we need that experience that Barron has, as that experience can help keep the less experienced ones calm when under pressure.

Where’s the beef?

Maybe an X’s and O’s guy can explain to me how the Rams are gonna prevent teams from wearing us down with inside runs.

Our NT, Suh, is a svelte 305. Both Littleton and Barron are undersized at about 220-225 or so.

I know we’re ecstatic with all the new additions. But I truly do not understand how we can stop the run without either a wide body NT or a big 240 lb thumper ILB.

Are we telling Littleton to fatten up, or what?

Suh, Donald, and Brockers are all stronger than most wide body NTs. I can't speak for the line backer corps - but the Rams now have an epic defensive line. It's not all pass rushing - no team can run block against them consistently either.

One thing I was thinking - Kayvon/Troy Hill are too good to not be on the field this year - I think maybe we'll play more dime whereas last year we had to play nickel because of our personnel.

Dime D would give up Peters, Talib, Coleman and our two S.
we don't know if Webster will be back and or effective after a tough injuries. I like what Hill did last year but at this point he is 5th on the CB depth chart.
