Considering McVay had a poor day of play calling against arguably the best team in the league and still barely lost, I’d say we’re in decent shape. McVay is a smart guy, he’s going to learn from his mistakes.

Sucks to lose a winable game like that and I was pissed at first, but then I thought, wait a minute, I would have been thrilled if I was told during the off-season that we would be 9-4 at this point. We are way ahead of where I thought we would be at this point of our 1st year with a new coach, new offensive system, new defensive system, young QB, 2nd youngest team in the NFL. We are WAY ahead of schedule, boys.

I can't even say he had a bad day. He called a good game, but that one call was a backbreaker.

For him it certainly wasn’t his best. I think there were a lot of missed opportunities with the run game and him not being as cognizant about the OL injuries when playcalling. There were a few drives where we were the ones looking unstoppable.

You cannot call that play in that situation at that time at that field position. And to clarify situation I mean Havenstein was on bench can't be calling stuff like that.

A lot of things to vent about is this game.Going to omit the absolute incompetence of the officials
and stick with what we could control.
So I'm just going to post my Top 3.

3. The unsportsmanlike conduct was a BS call, but Truimaine has to know better
than to give the ref an excuse to throw a flag in the first place, especially when
you just stopped an offense rolling the way Phili's was,and knowing the
game was being called insanely tight.(well,if you had horns on your helmet it was)

2. 1st and 10 at our 35,with a one point lead, Phili CANNOT stop Gurley. With Foles at QB,
Phili's odds of driving the ball 80yds or even 60 to score fell somewhere between doubtful,
and not a chance. Our starting RT is on the sideline and we decide to run a 7 step drop pass.
Hope McVay learns from this.At that point we should have been running the ball. And if we did
pass,it should have been limited to Quick Screens or something of the three step drop variety.

And the number freaking 1 thing that pissed me off today, occurred after Tavon's dumbass play.

The defense needs to wake the eff up and NOT wait til they get kicked in the balls to finally come out and play. Need some LBers who aren't undersized and some CBs that are actually worth a damn not just lucky. Trumaine is a diva and cost the game. Goff needs to man up and take command and get a clutch W. Needs to toughen up.

I don't want to hear about "learning experiences" and all that.... we've done this dance before with Seattle and MInny.... McVay didn't learn shit... Abandoned the run and played scared again. Poor clock management too. Ball game.

Random, but I want to post it somewhere, Goff had some insanely good plays where he escaped/dealt with pressure. That play where he spun out of a sack and hit Gurley who hurdled a guy for a 7 yard gain. That was great.

Also, fuck those refs. What a bunch of hacks.

i'm still so pissed.

every single result fell the rams way. the vikings lost, the seagulls lost, the saints lost, they had a 4 point lead in the 4th and nick fucking foles walked on the field. it was all set to be sitting as the #2 seed in the nfc and a 2 game lead over the seagulls. and they couldn't close the deal. un-fucking-believable.

i was upset when they let foles lead the eagles down the field the first time for a fg. then the turnover. then the stupid penalty that took 2 minutes off the clock. then the rams having to use a silent count down by 2 points inside their redzone. my mood got progressively worse. then they let foles get the 1st down.

that shit ain't right. i don't mind losing when the other team just played better than you but when you lose to the backup qb, that's fucked up. and such a rams things. i thought it was a fisher thing but here we are.

also, the 3 man rush kills me. i hate nothing more than seeing the opposing qb just standing there for 5 seconds looking for a place to throw the ball. sure it works some times but when it doesn't it sure does suck. even a qb on one knee can complete a td pass against it.

This is exactly how I feel. So many what if’s and here we are going into an even harder game on the road where we can lose and be out of playoff contention quickly

Snatched defeat from the jaws of victory. What Kurtfaulk said. We have the 4 point lead, even a 1 point lead and we just could do anything on either side of the ball to prevent the choke job. Total complete choke job. Not happy to say the least. Wentz out and we still can't win! Are you kidding me? Ugly loss. I'm also upset so many Eagles fans showed up. Are there any Rams fans buying tickets or is it 80% scalper types who don't give a crap about the Rams and just flip them. Thanks to the die hard Rams fans who did show up.

that's the worst part. from staring at the #2 seed to staring at missing the playoffs because they let the fucking backup qb beat them.

if it was wentz out there i wouldn't even be mad i'd just be disappointed. but the fucking back up statue qb? fuck that.

Tru didn't cost us the game. He got screwed today and screwed hard. This was a great matchup for him, and he played a great game against Jeffery. That DPI call on him was absolute rubbish. Wentz underthrew the ball, and Tru got his head around and batted it down. That's exactly what a CB is supposed to do. Fuck those assbags for flagging that.

And flagging him for taunting after he successfully defended the 3rd and long was icing on the cake of their douchebaggery. Him and Jeffery were yapping. That shit happens all the time. You don't flag that stuff unless there has been fighting or somebody takes it past talking (like if Tru had shoved Jeffery). They let all that shit go all game and then chose to flag us in a pivotal moment. I know you're going to say, "Tru shouldn't have put himself in that situation." You're right, but he also should have shitty asshole refs calling a one-sided game. Enforce things fairly. Don't pull that bullshit.

Personally, I thought Trumaine and NRC were outstanding today (Trumaine tends to struggle more with shorter, speedier WRs). We should not be getting screwed by the zebras in our own house. That's bullshit. That shit doesn't happen to the Seahawks. Fuck Cuntstad and his entire crew.

As for Goff, he manned up and gave us a 35-31 lead in the 4th quarter after Wentz went down and gave them a 31-28 lead. People are going to overlook that as they pick on him for the fumble, but the kid has come through for us multiple times this year in the 4th quarter. Let's not lose sight of that.

We're not staring at missing the playoffs. If we beat Seattle, we're almost guaranteed a spot.
