Well, Burwell aside, I hope Jackson means it when he said he doesn't want to leave because of his ties to the community. Not that I care about his community ties or anything. I just don't wanna see him go. And it will be a tough decision for him to make after the year is over. There are a lot of teams that could use him to get them over the top next year.

I really want to believe him.

...but I've heard a very similar song and dance before not to long ago...

Yeah, I know what you mean. Uprooting your kids to a new school becomes less problematic when presented with a $15M check.

The funny thing is Pujols and his family still live here and are very involved in the community.

But he went on about how he wouldn't go play for another team just for a few more million dollars when he could play for the Cardinals. And then he went where the money was.

Steven wont have a dumbshit wife and agent making him feel like he's disrespected though.

Well, I'm actually not so sure about that second part. No one is as bad as lozano though.

I get a feeling that SJ is sincere about wanting to stay in the STL. I believe him.

Burwell loves to hear himself talk.

I could see the rams offering him a 3 year 12mil deal

Too low IMO. He'll get at least 5 mill a year. Maybe 6 or more

BTW your side panel thing says you're from Edmond... Edmond, OK?
That's his name. He's from Cali.

Damn you Dude. I'm baked off Jack Herer and your simple answer made me think of this.
