Lose out and we could be looking at Fishers promise being broken, when he said, "We wont be drafting here again" , in reference to the second spot.

We absolutely need to lose out. 8-8 does us no good. We need to get a top 5 pick so we can get our QB.

Sorry, I can't root for losing. I hope we end up 8-8. I doubt we do, buy I'm hoping for it.

Getting a top two spot with 2 seconds this year is a good thing. We aren't going to the playoffs, just lose out and pick Goff then Boyd.

he might still be correct, we could be drafting 1st with a little more bad luck i can see us losing out the rest of the season

Now I know picking high hasn't worked out well for us, but the higher the pick, the better the odds.

We all are rooting for a winner and 8-8 isn't a winner
At this point positioning for our future franchise QB is all the franchise can do if they hope to win next year
Plus - the odds of us winning another game is really slim so I think we need to root for fellow sucky teams to win so we improve our draft position and for the inevitable (us losing out) to happen so we have promise for next year otherwise ....
I just don't know if I can hang with a 1st round CB and another year of this shite

The enigma of being a Rams fan in the final quarter of the season. What do we root for? The pick or some pride?

Who may pan out or be the next big bust for us to talk about for years to come.

And while I understand that is a possibility for whoever they select, sometimes I get the feeling that we, as fans, are far too quick to anoint the next years draft class QBs as franchise savers as if they couldn't turn out to be a bust and set the franchise back even further.

Well there is a risk Greg Robinson is a bust and we would have wasted 3 off seasons trying to figure it out. Busts happen, but if the scouts and GM like certain QB prospects early in the draft, then go for it. I'm against artificially moving one up the board, but if one is rated high, then pick him.

Currently i see us as having 0 QB's, maybe a backup in Mannion, we lose out and have chance to to get one

But there's no Winston, Mariota, Newton, or Luck type in this draft class to bank on.
This class could very well be like the 2014 QB draft class where to date, it appears that best QB was selected in the 2nd round in Derek Carr (after Bortles, Manziel, and Bridgewater).

I would never suggest we play to lose. But I do advocate shutting down players with nagging injuries or a history of injuries and getting some playing time for some that we think MIGHT be future starters for us.
