Neither LB James Laurinaitis (back) nor CB Cortland Finnegan (ankle) practiced Wednesday, the Rams' first day of preparation for their game Sunday against the Vikings at the Edward Jones Dome.

S Craig Dahl (concussion) also stood on the sideline, as did TE Mike McNeill (thigh). Also listed as not participating were C Scott Wells (knee) and RB Steven Jackson (foot), who have routinely been rested on Wednesdays.

The good news for Rams fans was that WR Danny Amendola was limited, participating primarily in individual drills.

"I felt pretty good about it," Amendola said of Wednesday's practice. "I was able to do some stuff. We'll take it day by day and see how I feel."

Amendola suffered the injury against the Jets on Nov. 18, took seven snaps the next week against Arizona but has not played in the most recent two games.

LB Mario Haggan (elbow), who also was injured Nov. 18 but played Sunday, was listed as full participation.

Highlights of the Vikings' injury report included RB Adrian Peterson, the league's leading rusher, who was listed as limited because of an abdominal injury.

The Rams added wide receiver [hil]Raymond Radway[/hil] to the practice squad. Radway played with running back Daryl Richardson at Abilene Christian. To make room, the Rams released defensive end Mason Brodine.

Rams add WR Raymond Radway to practice squad; release DE Mason Brodine.

Wide receiver
Date of birth: July 5, 1987 (age 25)
Height: 6 ft 3 in (1.91 m) Weight: 193 lb (88 kg)
Speed: 4.41
College: Abilene Christian

Undrafted in 2011

Career history

Dallas Cowboys (2011) (my note: this means he's a coach Sherman guy)
Chicago Bears (2012-present)

Raymond Radway (born July 5, 1987) is an American football wide receiver for the Chicago Bears of the National Football League. He was signed by the Cowboys as an undrafted free agent in 2011. He played college football at Abilene Christian. On September 1 while playing a preseason game against the Miami Dolphins Radway suffered a broken left fibula and tibia after leaping for a catch during the last 3 seconds of the game. He was then placed on injured reserve. On October 30, 2012, Radway was signed to the Chicago Bears practice squad. Radway had been brought in by the Bears in September to work out with the team after injuries to the backfield.

A standout at Abilene Christian University, Radway (6-foot-3, 198 pounds) was cut on Oct. 23 by the Dallas Cowboys, who brought him into the league in 2011 as an undrafted free agent. Radway appeared to be poised to earn a roster spot with the Cowboys as a rookie, but fractured his left ankle in the 2011 preseason finale.

The Cowboys brought Radway back in 2012, but the receiver was one of the club's final cuts after a preseason in which he didn't notch a catch.

Radway worked out for the Bears a little more than a month ago before re-signing with the Cowboys, where he spent two weeks before the club cut him. Once he became available, the Bears jumped into the picture.

DraftNasty.com Description

The 6'1 Radway used his long legs to become a national outdoor champion in the 400 meters at the Division II level. In fact, the four-time All American in track and field proved to be a natural compliment to star wideout Edmund Gates while in Abilene. He has loads of talent, but needs to refine his game to get significant looks this postseason.

Maybe Daryl put in a good word for him.
Could be. Or Snead scouts everyone.

Literally ... everyone.
