Anchovies -- I love me some anchovies. Especially on a pizza, with pepperoni and black olives. Back in my bachelor days, I used to order it up from the same place -- it came to be known by the kitchen staff as "loser's pizza" (as in "You KNOW this loser's eating it by himself -- who the hell else would want a slice of that?")

But damn -- it's tasty!

I LOVE em too!

No caesar salad is a caesar salad without them... and on pizza they are awesomeness.

Yes they are fantastic on pizza. Try them on an Italian sub sometime too.

Will have to try that -- sounds good.

chop them up with some pepperoncini and spread a little on the bread, it's a killer taste combo with the little salty bite and the light heat. Plus it adds to that delicious oily taste mess that makes me love a good Italian sandwich!!!

It's not so much a food but a dish, or snack, or condiment. My wife likes to eat saltines, cream cheese, and pickapeppa sauce. It's a Jamaican condiment. It's a little odd, but she is from Texas.

I think ramen is a staple for most college kids or anyone living on a budget. It's cheap and tasty but offers no real nutritional value.
My kid eats them dry....I don't get that.
This is not unusual foods really, but, certainly good white trash fair.
Take some ground beef with some chopped up onions, olives, and peppers, brown it and stir in a big bag of crushed up Doritos. Great hang over meal.

Some people think pineapple and banana pepper on pizza is unusual, but I think it's amazing.

Being a vegetarian it's hard to fine strange foods. I'll put random stuff together. Like I'll put corn chips and queso b/w 2 sliced of bread and eat it grilled cheese style. Or throw salsa into salads. I'll put pizza sauce and various cheeses/toppings onto flatbread and make a stove top pizza. Oregeno on sub sandwiches.

Maybe I'm just a fatass.

I'm always texting food pics to @RamFan503 . I do all the cooking in our house and food gets me way more excited than it should lol. Anyway, I didn't really think that one of my favorite foods in the world is unusual at all. I've been eating it since I was in 1st grade and our neighbors would catch some fresh everyday just about. Well, I also text a pic of the dinner I had just cooked to Brudda @CGI_Ram.... and he told me straight away that he wouldn't be eating any of it ever LOL. So maybe this might seem "Unusual" to some. I just made this like a week ago when I shot them the pics.

Octopus is just so delicious to me. I used to eat it raw when our neighbors would catch them... they are awesome "right out of the water" fresh. I still eat it all the time when we go out for sushi. But I also really like it grilled. It gets a crispy outside and the inside is just a perfect texture (kinda soft) if cooked right. You have to cook it in the oven for almost an hour in a white vinegar mixture first. Then I throw it on a very hot grill for about 5 minutes per side (coated in olive oil of course). I put a balsamic vinegar and oil mixture on it with some very thin sliced onion, fresh parsley, and capers. Blast it with some lemon juice and eat it HOT off the grill. This crap shouldn't be legal..

That is some awesome looking grub right there. Next time I'm out there we might have to just buy a bunch of stuff and forgo the restaurants. We could put on a freaking amazing throwdown.

I like Cheez-Its with coffee.

I like braunschweiger, that crap is delicious.

BRAUNSCHWEIGER!!! Yes
As soon as Les said it, I knew you Dieter were going to chime in. You and my dad - I swear. You like Tongue sandwiches too?

I never could get a taste for that seasoned liver roll myself. I can eat some strange stuff but that ain't one of 'em.

And Les.... Cheez its? That's the shit you feed babies when they're teething. :fighting:

I don't know why but for some reason I like them with coffee haha. It's a really odd combo isn't it.

Not an unusual food, but a ridiculous addiction. I eat 2 (sometimes 3) peanut butter and jelly sandwiches every day. Literally.
Every day.
Used to be just one for breakfast or late night snack but about 5 years ago I stopped going out for lunch and started packing a couple in my computer bag.

As for real food.... I love rib chops. Lamb or Pork. Cheaper the price, better they taste. Cant understand why the loin version gets top dollar why the tastiest is the least expensive.
And yeah man on beef marrow. Truly nectar of the gods

Man I'd really enjoy that.

@CGI_Ram is coming down in a few weeks and I'm gonna cook for him. He just won't be getting any octopus obviously ... Hahahahaha
