I went with Givens BK "under the radar" means a guy who I think isn't KNOWN to be a talent ,I can't call JJ ,Cook or Brockers .
So I elected the guy I expect to emerge from "under the radar" between the two remaining choices. I like Cunningham but I think he has a tough time climbing above #3 on the dept chart without an injury to someone in front of him.
I saw Givens in TC last year and he just seemed to have the right combination of size and speed to be an elite rec. in the mold I like to see as a true deep threat .
IMO with Givens and Tavon lined up on the outside ,it's gonna be real hard for defenses to put 8 in the box to contain our run game without giving up a lot of deep plays of which I expect Givens to get his share.

Jenkins, Brockers and Cook I absolutely expect to be big contributers. Cook might be at his ceiling already but if he can get better at blocking he's a solid all around TE. Jenkins has the potential to be a game changer on defense. He's already flashed that very early on. I think with GW in the fold, bringing experience and a better feel for what players can do, Jenkins is going to be a shut down Corner. Brockers is a forgotten beast in the middle. With the talent he's surrounded by it just makes his job that much easier. These three guys will be key players when the Rams shock the world and win the toughest division in football this year.

I went with Brockers but Jenkins was a close second. Brockers will benefit from an even better front seven and a year of experience. Jenkins and Cortland for that matter were a poor fit for the soft Walton defensive style. I expect Jenkins to roar back with the aggressive style brought by Williams this season.

Harkey is a beast. Everytime he caught the ball he always seemed to get a first down or score. And hes a fantastic blocker, really helped revitalize the run game. He's definitely an important cog in the machine. Really like our TE group. Can see Justice Cunningham having a nice year as well if he makes the roster, he was pretty good with the Gamecocks. Speaking of tight ends, has anybody heard how Mason Brodine is doing at TE? His development really intrigues me.

Harkey is one serious size FB @ 6-4 260 last yr no telling what he come s in at when the TC begins. Fisher has taken this UDFA TE & has molded him well for his offense. Harkey is a load when he unloads. What we saw in a small dose last season was his good hands & surprising athletic ability. Harkey started 10 games after fracturing his leg the last week of 2013 pre season. Harkey played very little in the first 4 games with 1 catch for 6 yds. Once he began to get healthy & the running game was emphasized by Fisher his worth became clear. Harkey is really much more FB or move H-Back than a TE.

Kendricks was a high 2nd round selection 2011 saved his best game of last season in the slaughter of the Rams in Seattle where he show'd me he was one tough SOB against Seahawks...LANCE DID NOT BACK DOWN! Kendricks was used a a dump off ball catcher last season. Kendricks is able to play the FB role for Harkey & can play very well behind Jared Cook Excellent when used along with Harkey @ FB.

Cunningham hung on on the PS late last yr mostly a FB Harkey type. I have no ideal what a 6-7/6-8 284 pound Brodine will do??? He play all last pre season @ DT? but Brodine is very athletic & if he can catch the ball ?? & block, which I am sure he can do.... it could get interesting.

I really think the big surprise @ TE in TC & pre season will be UDFA 6-4 260 pound rookie Alex Bayer!

Its still hard for me to think of Jared Cook as a TE?? I seem to think of him like Jimmy Graham thinks of himself..a very tall large wide out. I sure would like to see Jared used in the slot more myself where those 5-10 5-11 Nickle-backs will soil their unis.

I think Givens deserves the low expectations many, including myself, have for him. I'd love nothing more than to see him emerge into a good all around WR, but I'm not gonna hold my breath on him. He just didn't take a step forward, and I don't see him being more than a deep route "specialist".

Cook is a guy who got paid big money and is now nearly forgotten. He actually fits the criteria best IMO. He has immense talent and size and could end up being a very big part of this offense. Dude has my vote.

Going into 2013 I had high hopes for Givens. He looked great in preseason, then he started sucking. I'm trying to figure out if he is a one trick pony, or if he can develop into a more complete player.

Well yeah neither am I ,TC is over a month away and I'm not good for more'n a minute these days, now back in the day .........................
FWIW though I thought low expectations and under the radar sort of meant the same thing:confused:
