Drugs also have a effect on the brain, 1000 x more likely to bring on mental illness. Almost every mental illness (patient..HA) that is incarcerated in one fashion or another has a drug history!!!

Correlation does not equal causation.

"1000 x more likely to bring on mental illness.."

Absurd. Drugs like ketamine and LSD have successfully been used to treat mental illnesses.

Is this experience talking? I kid I kid.

Actually, yes. Which is part of the reason I take mental health probably more serious than most. Psychedelics absolutely saved me from myself. My younger brother wasn't so fortunate.

Most prescription drugs are ineffective and don't address the root of the problem. They're used to treat patients temporarily, creating subscribers and repeat customers.

That's rad actually - I believe it
I mean I've dropped my share of acid and it made me a better person - yet was told I was clinically insane cause I had taken over 7 hits!! Amazing

Interesting stuff. Not to be glib but if I'd have known I could improve mental health by eating mushrooms.... well.... just sayin'. Seriously though I don't know about the realities of shrooms inhibiting alcohol consumption. When I was much younger and in college, the reality was that we drank like fish and smoked like chimneys whenever we munched on the fun-gi.

This is a very scientific post.

I was teenager in the sixties. Had my share of orange sunshine, mescaline, cactus buttons, and 'shrooms. I think I'm a better person from the experience. :dizzy:

True enough but no one here is an expert in this. I think @WestCoastRam might have some insight into this. I believe he is the only one here that actually has some experience in the field.

Personally, I'd like to stop talking about this as none of us has all the info and it only seems to be breeding bad blood when most of us simply want to talk Rams football. I'm not saying you are wrong on your opinions. Frankly, I couldn't suggest who MIGHT be right in any of this.

Agreed...I'll leave this alone, and leave it to family and medicos...And certainly I am neither...

I'm glad you and Athos are amused by us little people. Heaven forbid a bunch of guys talk football and give their opinions about the team they've followed for 30 years plus on an Internet forum that's designed for exactly that.
Funny, but I haven't seen a lick of 'football talk' anywhere in this thread.

Another 3rd Rd. Pick down the toilet.
The selection @ the time it was made sure looked like a very solid selection in the 3rd rd. So did Stedman Bailey (south Fl. not been good for the Rams players). they looked to be way out of the control of Snead. Being a solid Snead guy I fully recognize that his tract record over the last 5 drafts is trending more negative as he builds on his track record.

When you review just 4 past drafts & you get four bad results @ this point with Quick, Pead, Bailey & now Mason, then follow that up with the high 3rd days selections which includes 5 like Stacy, McGee, Jones, Watkins & Givens I do find it hard to find some good spend. I will say Snead has done an outstanding job with UDFA's(y). Then throw in 2 out of the 6 first round picks are all pros.

"Funny" once again I see. Again so glad we amuse you....

Check the first of my posts in this thread - it's a picture of Malcolm Brown and Aaron Green with the caption "Brown + Green = Victory"

That's football talk for the team is moving on and we have two great replacements

This entire thread is about football, specifically the Los Angeles Rams.

A matter of fact:
Only post on this thread that have nothing to do with football are Your posts

If you want to be argumentative for the sake of being argumentative, why don't you go bark at the moon.

Yeah - this thread is done. I will remind EVERYONE to keep it about the post or thread, NOT about the poster.

At times, moderators will need to ignore this mantra but that is generally because they have to. If it seems hypocritical - it's just the way it is and it is a line we walk every day. And generally it is the line we'd rather not walk.
