TRANSCRIPT: Head Coach Jeff Fisher, QB Sam Bradford, 12-12-12

Rams Head Coach Jeff Fisher – Post-Practice – December 12, 2012

(On who he would say the team’s rookie MVP is this season)
“You know, I wouldn’t answer that question, specifically because it wouldn’t be fair to the rest of the guys. We’re still encouraged about our class. They’re improving weekly. We’re getting production out of most of them. We feel like, overall, this will be a group that’ll end up being with us for a long time.”

(On how DT Michael Brockers has changed things for the defense)
“Well, he’s helped up front, certainly in our defense against the run because of his athletic ability and his strength. As of late, he’s really contributing to our pass rush and our pressure because a key component of pass rush is inside pressure and that’s what he’s been providing for us.”

(On how WR Brandon Gibson is playing this year)
“He’s been very productive for us, made some key catches in some key situations, been very consistent. He’s in the right place at the right time. (QB) Sam (Bradford) trusts him. He’s very reliable.”

(On Gibson going a few games without any catches then becomes the star receiver last week and if this is the way that the receiving corps is)
“Well, yes it is. It really depends on coverage and selection, progression, a lot of different things. The good part about this group it’s a very unselfish group. When one guy makes a catch everybody else is excited because it’s the group that’s on the other end of the throw rather than just the person.”
