Rams Head Coach Jeff Fisher – News Conference – December 3, 2012

(On if he wouldn’t mind cold weather this weekend)
“No, it’d be good for us.”

(On what he saw on film from the defense)
“It was a hard fought, physical game. I thought in particular the defensive line, each and every one that was up active for the game, played very well. They played hard, were physical. They went to the football. They got off blocks. It was probably their best game even though you say well, you had a nine-sack game. This is their best all-around game, I thought.”

(On if he did anything different schematically on 49ers RB Frank Gore)
“There were a few wrinkles that we added to the defensive game plan that helped – that’s really hard to do. He had 28 carries for 58 yards and he had that big one, too. So, that’s hard to do. It’s a team defensive effort. (S) Craig (Dahl) comes down from the free safety position and makes an open field tackle or the game’s probably over. It was an all-around good effort by the defense.”

(On if this was DT Michael Brockers’ best game)
“He’s improving. He played pretty well last week as well. He played stout, strong and got good pressure, had a real nice chase down tackle down field. He’s feeling good and he’s improving.”

(On how valuable DE Will Hayes is to the defense)
“Will’s been playing pretty well the last four to six weeks. This was clearly Will’s best game. We moved him around. He played left end, played a little bit of right end, played inside tackle. He had a sack last weekend at nose, so he’s been flexible for us.”
