Are you down on Winston because of off field concerns, or is it on field?

Okay Hammer a few questions:

Are the bolded players, the ones that you like? Or players that you think fit what the Rams like? or are they all players the Rams have been linked to?

Several sources report scouts only see 10 - 15 first round quality and then from 15 to about 54 the players are all very very closely rated. Do you feel the same?

Fisher said that this is a weak draft class, not very deep. I tend to agree but where is the likely cut off of finding starters in your opinion?

(Others are welcome to throw in their two cents too. Just looking for opinions)

bolded ones known rams interest...been saying for awhile I thought Max Garcia would become the #2 center rated in the draft..after his pro day today he is...great job with Boudreau watching...move him to 78 ahead of Hroniss Grasu

agree about 12-15 1st rd picks in this draft..and bunched afterwards..guessing who goes where this year would be blind luck...honestly start running out of starters by the end of the 3rd rd....maybe 4/5 guys in the next 2 rds BUT blind luck if they are still available
No Ch-- for PJ Williams? Waiting for a conviction?

for a DUI? all to kick out 2/3 of the hof players if DUI mattered

Awesome work Hammer. You really should be getting paid by someone for this sort of in depth work - but I'm glad you share it here at ROD for us!

A DUI 3 weeks before the draft - PLUS another accident where despite the fact that he left the scene of the accident serious enough to cause airbags to deploy and was driving on a revoked drivers license, got the FSU homecooking from the local police and was only ticketed for improper left turn and for “unknowingly” driving with a suspended license.

I'm the first one to want to overlook these kind of things - but PJ Williams has red flags worth investigating - and quite possibly, an alcohol problem.

DUI's mean nothing to me...someone posted his picture after he was arrested and he looked stone sober to me

.unless something surfaces more serious I'll leave him where he is....IMO best cb & fs in the draft

Neither of these were charges. They were both allegations. The point shaving story never received any press because it was from a guy with a long history of lying and it was never substantiated in any way. It was fantasy.

The rape allegation could not even be proven in a student conduct hearing with a preponderance of the evidence standard. Nobody can say definitively what happened that night but the evidence doesn't back the girl's account.

The rape allegation is the only thing of actual substance.

Kind of odd you'd dismiss a DUI so quickly for Williams but get hung up on a pellet gun war between a bunch of football players or Winston stealing crab legs.

Also seems to dismiss Green-Beckham's 2-possession charges and his dismissal from Missouri's football program due to allegations of getting in a scuffle with a female.

But to his rankings....I disagree with some, but I understand how tough it is to make a list of the top 50, couldn't imagine making a list of a top 300. So for that, I give you props.

You are right, I missed your reply.

Not many people on this forum like Max Garcia. I may have been the only one, until you started posting.

Garcia was very impressive at the Sr. bowl.
