One of the biggest personalities in NFL media is looking for work.

Tony Siragusa, a roving blend of sideline reporter and analyst who served as the third person in the booth without actually being in the booth, is out at FOX Sports, according to Ryan Glasspiegel of TheBigLead.com.

Siragusa previously worked with the announcing team of Kenny Albert and Daryl Johnston. More recently, Siragusa joined Thom Brennaman and Charles Davis.

Unconventional in many ways, Siragusa always was a polarizing presence during games. Apparently, someone with sufficient juice at FOX cast the deciding “nay” vote.

I always appreciated his insights regarding the battles along the LOS. He could always spot which lines were winning the 'wars.'

...and now that he's been 'outed' by FOX, I like him even more

I don't agree that he was "Polarizing" that's ' Florio BS!!'
I liked Siragusa, he brought a lot of insight with his commentary!!
I hope he gets another "Gig" soon!!

He was pretty good most of the time. He had some bias I didn't care for at times. But, what do you expect right? At least he was willing to spend the entire game on the field even if it was 0 degrees.

Networks are going with more and more eye candy on the sidelines. Goose came up just a little bit short in that department. :rolllaugh:

Bad move.
Sideline reporters have the easiest job in the world. All they do is ask foolish questions to coaches and players. They're almost worthless.

Tony made it fun. I enjoyed his comedic commentary.

Tony was worth 4 of the eye candy sideline reporters. Well, weighed as much as, at least.

And yes, Fox wouldn't want actual football knowledge, when they can have Joe Namath try to kiss one of their reporters instead.
