Michael Strahan was better because his sacks were official. His 22 1/2 official sacks are more than Jones's 26 and 24 unofficial sacks. People couldn't count back in the 60's.

Considering that Strahan wasn't much better than average for most of his career, you're probably right.

His stats are all better than Strahans, except Strahan has that one Seasons where he, uh, got Lucky with his sack (?) of Favre!

But as Strahan has reminded us he had zero sacks those first three games. Pretty much makes his season better than any defensive player ever even if throw out the freebie... in his mind.
