Wonder if they'll allow betting on home games
The NFL let a convicted felon who was caught passing a briefcase full of cash under a table to obtain a riverboat gambling license into their Hall of Fame, so any anti-gambling pretense is long gone.

Hopefully once they move they have the Rams on the schedule. I'm all for them playing the Rams at home every year. Quick little drive down the road for me!

A slot machine on the back of every seat with interactive consoles to place bets on every plays outcome. Just swipe the plastic!

But at least there will be a lot of transient fans visiting Vegas for the traveling Raiders fans to stab.

In this day and age, being in Las Vegas to bet means literally nothing......in the way of betting at least. I'm still laughing about the stabbing part!!! :)

I was expecting a reply from you good sir.....I am in the mountains of the Silver State.
That makes two of us!

It's fun reading the assumptions of the uninformed about our state and Vegas.

I wonder what Miami's problem is. ???

http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.co...tephen-ross-explains-no-vote-to-raiders-move/

“My position today was that we as owners and as a League owe it to fans to do everything we can to stay in the communities that have supported us until all options have been exhausted,” Ross said in the statement, via Adam Beasley of the Miami Herald. “I want to wish Mark Davis the Raiders organization the best in Las Vegas.”

Mark Davis: Could stay in Oakland through 2019 season
Posted by Darin Gantt on March 27, 2017

Mark Davis was just given permission to move his team to Las Vegas, but said he could see staying in Oakland longer than his lease dictates.

The Raiders have one-year options on their lease in Oakland for the 2017 and 2018 seasons, and Davis said Monday they could even stay beyond then while their building in Las Vegas is under construction.

While not everyone is going to be happy about those prospects, Davis said he’d be willing to offer refunds to angry fans who had already put down deposits for season tickets.

“Not happy, but we will do that,” he said.

But mostly, Davis seemed relieved to have the process finalized and to have a home, after so many years of negotiating in vain with the city of Oakland.

He said his father Al Davis “would be proud,” that he had taken the team to “the entertainment capital of the world.”

But for at least the next two seasons, and perhaps three, he’s going to ask his old fans in Oakland to support him.

Preach it Brother! I've almost given up.
Used to really piss me off, then found them mildly irritating, now it really is funny.

The sports betting one cracks me up the most. I believe the number I read was only 20% of the money was bet with Nevada casinos.

*Word of Wisdom: If you find yourself in your car at 6pm on most any night in Las Vegas and you're at the MGM Grand and want to see the outdoor/indoor show in downtown Vegas, go east to Paradise Rd and ride that sucker to the Stratosphere, and then get on the Strip

Well is he really? Mostly in LA, yes. But not in St. Louis as he readily accepted the public welfare. But the public in LA will still be on the hook for transportation infrastructure improvements in the vicinity of $60 million - $100 million. Kroenke will also receive about $180 million in sales tax kickbacks. Annual costs to the taxpayers will run about $8 million per year.

Two things on this not that i want to extend these Stan discussions. The infrastructure upgrades are being paid by Stan. He will be reimbursed part of the money if the development meets certain tax income thresholds. Secondly if those thresholds are met the $8 million you cite will keep the city in the black, they'll be making more tax income than that.
