I believe that Sam will be a better pocket passer than RG3. While everyone has raved about the total package that is RG3, none have specifically raved about the qualities that make for a great pocket passer. Accuracy being the prime one. The talents that caused us to draft Sam are the ones that would make me pick him over RG3. IMO.
RG3 had great 1st year stats but he went to a very good team. Most good QBs go to teams that sucked like the Rams did. I think that Sam would have had comparable stats had he played on a team as talented as the Redskins.
