Rams were beating the Colts in that game, at one point in the first quarter leading 17-0. But then Bulger got injured (shoulder) and things went south. (When Bulger left the game he was 6 of 8 for 121 yards). That was also the first game with Vitt as interim head coach. Interestingly, the Colts line is complaining that they should run more, and in the end that's how they won--Edgerrin James ran for 143 yards and 3 TDs while Manning threw 32 times for just 191 yards and 2 TDs.

I remember it was a Monday nite game, and I had to go to some youth group thing. This was when those Motrolola Razr phones were "in" and I was the only one who didn't have one. Other kids did and kept buggin me about it (the game, not the phone).
