So now that everyone has had a breather from yesterdays tough 16-10 loss, lets start looking at the next three games on our schedule.

Lets start with Jacksonville, they have been playing good ball as of late. Much like the Rams I can't really put my finger on whether their team is for real or not. One week they look like world beaters and the following week they look like a 2-14 team. In many ways Jax is built very much like Seattle on Defense. Simple game-planning lets their guys roam free and make plays. I personally do not believe they are a playoff team yet but they are well on their way. Currently the Jags are ranked No. 3 in points allowed at 16.6 which is two spots better than Seattle at 17.4 per game. The Jags running game isn't a joke either. They are also ranked 5th on points scored at 27.8. Their game plan will be much like Washington's game plan, pound the football at our undersized front 7 and pass when you need to. In short we have to play much better mistake free football if we're going to have a chance at winning on the road.

Moving on to London (Cardinals), after the game in Jacksonville we are staying on the east coast which I think gives us a huge advantage with traveling across the pond. Not to mention we've played there the last two seasons, so by now we should know how to prepare for these games. I worry a little about McVay being inexperienced when it comes to these type of situations.
As far as the Cards are concerned, they are a hot mess at the moment. Their offense is ranked 29th in points scored and not much better at 26th on Defense. Bruce Arians will come prepared tho. so don't let their stats fool you.and don't let the Rams Defense fool you either. I still don't think we're much better than we were a couple of weeks ago. 49ers still struggled to score a TD until the last game in garbage time. That scares me.

After our much needed BYE week we will be facing the Giants, much like the Cards they are in shambles at the moment. Yes they still have their two time SB winning QB and Defensive coord but this game should be easily winnable. And that's what scares me, this game has trap game written all over it. Hope McVay has these guys coming play because NY has had our number the last couple of times we've faced them.

The next three games are going to define this team, contender or pretender.

McVay may not have experience with playing in london but Bones does. And he surely has all the research and studies on injury prevention that Fisher had when he was here.
Reggie is still with the team, they should be fine with having a plan in place already.

You're probably right. I'm sure they figured the logistics of everything before the season even started. However, are you sure you want to take a page out of Fishers study book when it comes to traveling to London? He was 0 - 2

I'll take 5-3 after the Giants game. Jacksonville will be their toughest game. We're due in Lodon and Arizona isn't very good. The Giants are a tire fire right now. Any given Sunday sure, but I expect at least 2-1.

We need a bounce back week against the Jags this week. We can't drop two in a row, I don't know if this team will sink or swim after dropping two.

I'm a homer but I think we can 3-0 those. We can probably sell our against the run and have faith that Bortles can't beat us. The offense will have to show some resiliency though because there isn't much of a difference in Jacksonville and Seattle's defenses. I think Jacksonville's defense has literally won them two out of three of their wins. Arizona looks like a mess, their run games is so so, and their line is in shambles. I really wish this wasn't in London though New york now has no receivers, question marks at running back , and an attackable offensive line.

If we lose to Jacksonville though I think the sky may be close to falling.

I get the same feeling. I think if we drop two in a row our team might start to have flash backs of last years epic flop. I hope it doesn't happen because it will greatly shorten McVay's career as a HC.

I do like your idea of selling out to stop the run tho. It's what we have to do. If Bortles beats us thru the air then we just aren't ready to take that next step this year.

I think that the start to the season gave us hope, maybe belief that we we could get to the play offs.
The way the lads had been playing at the very least gave a feel good factor and optimism.

I thought we'd beat the Seahawks by about 10 points.
It turned put to be a frustrating game and a step back. There were still some promising signs. I was impressed by Higbee especially.
The old cliche of we lost that game rather than the Seahawks won it.

I'm quite nervous about the Jags game now as they've had some impressive wins, but so have we. The Jags should be equally as nervous that we want to bounce back from this loss.
It might be another close game but we need to show that grit and determination like we did against Dallas.
I believe we can beat them.

I'll be on London for the Cardinals game, which, depending on the coming weeks results, will either be a big game or a HUGE game for the division.

I can't really look past the BYE at the moment. For me these next two games are absolutely crucial.

If we can go 3-0 or 2-1 in the next 3, I'll be cool with that. These are beatable teams.

Correct. Bortles has looked poorly outside of 1 London game where the Ravens looked half asleep. If we limit the turnovers (which Jacksonville has been great at creating) the I don't think bortles can outscore us. Leonard on the other hand....

We are not even close to last years team. First and foremost McVay is steering the ship, he will have big enough pails to bail out the incoming water and the tools to fix the leaks to stop the sinking. Besides we are going to WIN.

I think we should stop with any comparisons of last years team. We may not be all that just yet but this not last years team.

This is my thought. I think Fournette is good and their defense is good, but our team is much better. Heck, they have to measure Bortles passing in inches, not yards, just to get a quantifiable number.

One game at a time... need to beat JAX, and it won't be easy.

Lol agreed. It's gonna be a sobering thought if we lose though

The Rams have a statement game to play next week. If they drop a winnable game due to the same faults ... That wont be pretty.

That's what makes me nervous. I think Cousins only threw the ball 13 times in the Skins game??? They will come in with the same exact game plan it will be up to our front 7 to keep the game within reach.

Win or or not (they will WIN by the way) makes no difference this is no where near to last years team because of McVay. To me it is that simple. Yes there will be growing pains with McVay I am sure, but no matter where they finish this year it will be a building block to better things and not the S.O.S.
