If your not aware, I live in the Philly burbs and every day on the radio and the news on tv the NFL Draft info is first to be mentioned as to the progress of building the stage, road closings, local college players to be drafted from Temple, Villanova, and there projected draft rounds.
It's pretty exciting and i'm getting pumped up. I know a few people going and Im not one of them. I have other thing coming up that I need to spend my entertainment money on, lol. Dirt track racing near Harrisburg, A few Phillies game coming up and the wifes birthday at the end of the week, lol.
They are saying the weather is supposed to be in the 80s and no rain, for this area , this time of year, we are going to be lucky.
For those of you that may be going and your not from the area, make the run up the Art Museum steps like Rocky, eat a cheese steak and a philly soft pretzel with mustard.
Good luck to the Rams and our future picks.

I am only 2.5 hours from Philly, but I will stay home. I don't want to stick my wife with all of the work and care taking of the kids and dogs.

If the Rams had a first round pick, then I would consider it. I bet it will be a great atmosphere.

Hey Man, unfortunately the Rocky steps at the Art Museum are closed to the public. That is where the players will be walking down when introduced. I'm not getting anywhere near downtown. I ride Roosevelt Blvd from Langhorne in the mornings 10:30-11:00 back to home. I see the downtown skyline but don't want to be with the 200-300K NFL fans. If I were younger maybe take the train in. Hope traffic isn't too bad. You know the Schuylkill (RT 76) is a mess to ride anyway. Lot's of people in the Fairmount area are not happy. Starting to see interviews of complaining people (not everyone) on TV about traffic, roads closures and parking. Longer closures than the Popes visit in the area. It is ramping up around here. This is a massive event that should bring in some money to the local economy. Hope Philly represents well and keeps it all good.

Ram 65, I feel the same way about the crowd. Also didn't know the museum steps were going to be closed.
That city is a mess on a regular weekend, lol.

Not going but heard on the radio that you can park at Sugar House Casino and they will have a shuttle service to the draft. Adam Shefter is among the special guests at the casino.
