I have to admit. Deep into the 3rd quarter, I had given up. But this team clawed it's way back in. I hate losing....but I love what we almost pulled off. And the interception by Gaines was a big league play. For a few years our guys face guard and then turn leading to penalties.....but Gaines was watching the ball all the way in. Great focus. We might not get to the playoffs this year.....but we are growing up.

at 34-7 I went outside to do some yard work.. every time I came inside to check scores, Rams had scored again. last time I looked there was under a minute left in the game..went outside for another 10 minutes

When it was 34-7 I almost gave up, and I was going to change games, But I thought, no, I supporting my team! And WOW! WHAT A GUTZY COME BACK! Davis was like Rocky out their! Getting beat up, at the beginning, But then he just keep coming! You could almost hear him say to Philly "Is that all you got!! Take that!! Bam, Bam, Bam!!" Three TD's Later I was sure we were about to set the Football world on fire!! Killer. Great Game! I'm proud of the effort!! This season is far from over!! (y) (y)

The dink and dunk offense is gone for good!
Great point! I am very happy with the "new Schotty" this year. I only had 2 complaints this game -- the empty backfield in the first red zone blunder, and not riding Zac enough when he's starting to roll. Last season I'd have ten times that many complaints. Too bad Schotty's improvement hasn't translated into more wins, for all the crap he's taken (from me included) he deserves to be getting big praise for this offensive production, especially with an inexperienced QB.

The things that were supposed to be strengths are weaknesses....but....the expected weaknesses have been strengths, DBs and QB.

Those first 3 quarters were painful, but that last one made it all worthwhile.

I am actually in a pretty good mood.

GO RAMS!!!
i'm not quite ready to say the first three quarters and the end result were worth enduring in exchange for the fourth quarter, but it did keep my faith from being extinguished...and it was wavering pretty seriously up to that point. so i'm still on the rams train...next stop, home turf...where we'll take down the 49ers.

Freaking E.J. Gaines is a gamer. Who'd a thunk losing Tru would basically be a non-issue? Can't wait til he gets back too!
i can't say that i didn't think losing johnson would be an issue, but i really did have full confidence in gaines. watching him play at MU and hearing all the accolades given along the way convinced me. what a great pick by les and jeff.

We racked up 125 yards rushing at a 5.4 ypc clip which is pretty amazing considering that we were behind most of the game.

The Rams are starting to look like an NFL team with an offense that can score more than 21 points a game consistently. They played a highly potent offense this week and held their own. They have talent and depth at WR, DL, CB, RB, TE, and with some maturity and a reduction in penalties...this team can compete with any other team in the league. They will beat some teams we didn't expect this year.

I did but I watched him at Mizzou. I was sorry that Tru had to go down but excited about EJ getting the start.

Fisher said next time Rams player gets a stupid penalty such as Ray Ray Armstrong's unnecessary roughness call, he's sending them off field

I consider Fisher saying he's had enough is a BIG positive! I really like hearing this....

This is a game of disappointment and hope. Disappointing because the Rams took so long to get going...hopeful because you see what can happen if this team can pull it all together.

Austin Davis' youth showed early...but his "gumption" showed late!

Have a GREAT week of practice...and bring on the next one...SF!

I was really hoping for 14-2 but I think 13-3 will still get us home field advantage throughout the playoffs.

Well, this week, Austin Davis is #2 for the week so far behind Peyton Manning with 375 yds 3 TDs and no picks, with a PR of 103.7 Not bad for a UDFA.

Pretty Positive.

i hope this marks a change in fisher's MO...winking at the penalties and undisciplined play...crossing my fingers.

We have receivers that can win virtually any jump ball and Quick is looking like he will pull someone's head off if it looks like a football. The problems we face right now all appear to be correctable. I see no better time than against the Whiners.
