i didnt post it in the 'Criminals " thread mainly because the investigation is still going on... innocent until proven etc

but then again, he is a Patriot after all

Most of these stories are like that because "the investigation is still going on." Innocent until proven guilty, and all that. Thanks for posting it though. (y)

The Patriots have released Brandon Spikes less than a month into his reunion with the team.

The Monday news comes mere hours after Massachusetts state troopers discovered a vehicle registered to the inside linebacker abandoned in the median of a highway in Foxborough.

The 2011 Mercedes Maybach was discovered around 3:30 a.m. Sunday, Massachusetts State Police said in a statement to NFL Media, and had "damage to its front end." According to the statement, a representative with the OnStar on-board navigation system said the driver reported hitting a deer, though no deer was found at the scene.

Further in the statement, the police note that a 2009 Nissan Murano was rear-ended by a vehicle that neither of the three passengers could identify. It happened just a short distance from where the vehicle registered to Spikes was discovered.

All three passengers in the Murano were taken to the hospital for examination. The police said that their injuries were minor.

At the moment, Spikes has not been charged with any crime, nor has his Mercedes been officially linked to the accident. Massachusetts State Police are continuing their investigation. Spikes, a run-stopping specialist, was expected to add depth to a unit that is dealing with injuries this offseason.

Because the first thing I do after I hit a deer is ditch my vehicle and get the fuck out of there while an investigation for a car getting rear ended is conveniently happening at the same time.

Man these guys are so dumb and think they're so clever. It's a horrible combination.

Rodney Austin found guilty of two misdemeanor assault charges

When offensive lineman Rodney Austin was arrested earlier this year on assault charges, the Lions didn’t waste much time before releasing a player who played one game for them in 2013.

Austin’s agent Mark Magazu called the arrest a “non-issue” and said that he expected Austin to be cleared of the charges. A judge in Mecklenburg County, North Carolina disagreed with that assessment.

The Detroit Free Press reports that Austin has been found guilty of the assault charges — one for assaulting a woman and one for assault on a child under 12, specifically an infant who was being held by Austin’s former girlfriend — as well as charges of interference with an emergency communication and larceny. All of the charges are misdemeanors and, as followers of last year’s Greg Hardy case likely remember, Austin can appeal for a jury trial on the charges.

The Lions said at the time of Austin’s release that a return was possible if he was cleared of the charges, but that may be closed as a result of Tuesday’s ruling.

Letroy Guion on his big bag of marijuana: “I don’t think I’ll miss it”

When Letroy Guion was arrested in Florida this offseason, he was carrying a lot of marijuana, but wasn’t charged with intent to distribute.

So one could infer that he just likes to buy in bulk — Which makes us wonder, do they sell it by the bale at the Denver Costco? — but the Packers defensive tackle said he’d have no problems putting it down for a chance to continue playing in the NFL.

I don’t think I’ll miss it,” Guion said, via Pete Dougherty of the Green Bay Press-Gazette. “If I wasn’t playing football, I’d miss that. It’s mind over matter. I have a job to do, and I have to follow the guidelines and rules.”

He said he hasn’t sought counseling, and stopped smoking the old-fashioned way — by not smoking any more.

“Just drop it and do it on my own,” he said. “It’s really willpower and manpower and mind power to do whatever you have to do to move forward and not take a step back. I have to stop and follow the rules just like everybody else.”

When Guion was pulled over in February, he had .787 pounds of marijuana, a 9mm semi-automatic handgun and $190,028.81 in cash. He cut a deal with prosecutors to end the case, leaving him with no criminal record after he paid a $5,000 fine.

He could still face league punishment, but hasn’t heard from them. That doesn’t mean the arrest wasn’t costly, as it came just before he’d have hit free agency. When the Packers brought him back, it was on a one-year deal, at far less than he’d have earned otherwise.

“We’re all out here to win the championship first and provide for our families second,” Guion said. “So I’m not going to do anything where I mess that up again and make it so I can’t provide for my family.”

And since the cops in Florida are still holding his truck and his cash, that’s harder than it used to be.

Brandon Spikes hit with four charges for leaving scene after car crash

The Massachusetts State Police didn’t buy the story about “hitting a deer” either.

Authorities there just announced that former Patriots linebacker Brandon Spikes will face four charges after his recent automobile incident.

The MSP determined that Spikes “was speeding and driving negligently when he crashed his 2011 Maybach sedan into the back of a sport utility vehicle.”

He’s being charged with leaving the scene of a personal injury crash, operating a motor vehicle negligently to endanger, speeding and failure to stay within marked lanes.

He has already been punished by the Patriots, who cut him shortly after his abandoned vehicle was found on the side of Route 495 near Foxborough, where cops said an Onstar attendant told them the driver of the car said he hit a deer.

But cops say they saw no trace of a deer strike, or Spikes.

The crash caused minor injuries to a couple and a 12-year-old boy, but they were treated and released from a nearby hospital.

My guess is he had no choice... a blood test would have proven bigger problems.

Just a guess...

Shembo deserves to be ripped apart by a pack of rabid Yorkshires.

And also, for that sexual assault? He deserves to burn in hell forever for attacking and driving that poor girl to suicide.

I hope he dies a terribly slow and painful death and that it happens today and lasts through the weekend.

Molly Shattuck gained a great deal of attention as the NFL’s oldest cheerleader when she joined the Baltimore Ravens’ squad, but now she’s gaining attention for a very different reason.

The 48-year-old Shattuck pleaded guilty today to fourth-degree rape, admitting that she had a sexual relationship with a 15-year-old classmate of her son.

Shattuck faces a sentence of up to 15 years in prison, the Baltimore Sun reports. She will also register as a sex offender and may not have contact with minors other than her own children.

Former Patriots and Jets linebacker Jermaine Cunningham won’t serve any jail time, but did get three years of probation for posting sexually revealing photos of an ex-girlfriend online.

Acccording to Tom Haydon of NJ.com, Cunningham was also ordered to undergo anger management counseling in the “revenge porn” case.

Cunningham had previously pleaded guilty to those charges, along with fourth-degree charges of illegally transporting a handgun in the glove compartment of his car and having hollow-point bullets.

He was arrested last December following a domestic violence complaint. When he pleaded guilty in May, he admitted posting explicit photos of a woman online without her permission.

Warren Sapp accused of biting finger, stepping on head of girlfriend

If there was ever any chance that Hall of Fame defensive lineman Warren Sapp would be returning to a TV screen or any media company at any point in the near or distant future, there probably isn’t now.

Sapp, fired by NFL Network after being accused of soliciting prostitution and then assaulting said prostitutes, is now accused of assaulting his long-time girlfriend (who apparently remained his girlfriend despite Sapp’s indiscretion with a pair of prostitutes). According to TMZ, Sapp has been charged with three counts of domestic violence following an April 28 incident at at Las Vegas resort.

Per TMZ, the police report alleges that Sapp: (1) throwing a margarita in her face”; (2) allegedly grabbing her “by the arm or purse and violently pulled on her . . . nearly taking her down to the ground”; (3) “biting her middle finger”; (4) throwing a belt at her; and (5) stepping on her face while wearing a pair of sandals.

She allegedly emerged from the incident with multiple injuries, including a checkerboard imprint on her temple, apparently from the sole of Sapp’s sandal.

He’s due in court on July 23, and he faces up to 18 months in prison. He likely now has been exiled from any type of high-profile media employment for a lot longer than that — possibly for the rest of his life.

The law doesn't look at it like that. A good looking woman, married to a billionaire and with 3 children, has to sink so low as to seduce a 15-year-old classmate of her son. That's one sick, twisted individual. She doesn't need to go to prison but straight into therapy.

Molly Shattuck, the former Baltimore socialite, professional cheerleader and healthy living guru, pleaded guilty to a single count of rape in the fourth degree at a Delaware Superior Court hearing on Tuesday, according to the Baltimore Sun.

Shattuck, who arrived to court about 10 minutes before her scheduled appearance, offered no public comment to the reporters waiting outside. Inside the courtroom, Shattuck said just one word, according to reports. When asked by the judge if she had committed the offense she was pleading guilty to, Shattuck answered “Yes.”

In Delaware a person is guilty of fourth degree rape when he or she has sexual intercourse with a victim who has not reached their sixteenth birthday, among other criteria. Fourth degree rape is a Class C felony and it can carry up to 15 years in prison. Shattuck was accused of having a sexual encounter with a 15-year-old classmate of her son while at a vacation rental property in Bethany Beach last Labor Day.

Tuesday’s guilty plea will require Shattuck, who will be sentenced at a hearing set for Aug. 21, to register as a sex offender.

The 48-year-old was arrested in November and charged with rape and unlawful sexual contact with a 15-year-old boy. The mother of three turned herself into the Sussex County Superior Court in Delaware (where her crimes occurred), pleaded not guilty and was eventually released on $84,000 bond.

Shattuck’s arrest rocked Baltimore elite circles in which the diminutive socialite had cut an outsized figure. She was married to prominent Baltimore businessman Mayo A. Shattuck, and their children (along with her victim) attended the posh McDonogh School. She was heavily involved in several charities and in 2005 entered the annals of Ravens cheerleading history as the oldest squad member at age 38. Shattuck even appeared in the first season of the ABC reality show “Secret Millionaire.”

But since her headline-grabbing arrest, Shattuck, once known for courting the spotlight, has maintained a minuscule public profile. Her divorce was finalized two days before she turned herself in, the charity boards that praised her enthusiasm and commitment distanced themselves, the Web site poised to become her Goop-like lifestyle hub is blank.

You get what you deserve in life sometimes. And I am directing that at both of these people.
