I just gotta say, while I hate the location of it, that fucking stadium is what the kids are calling "the bees knees"....is that still cool? Oh well, who knows, but for real. Is it not exciting to think about our Rams playing in the most beautiful stadium ever built? The renderings are absolutely stunning. In excited for you LA fans that will get to experience that. I'm hoping to make a trip out there once it it built. So, love or hate the Rams right now, you gotta love that stadium.

i have to agree with you that stadium looks like it will be out right amazing. I have been to Jerry's World in Dallas for a game and thought that was pretty cool but nothing compares to what they want to build in LA.

I think i will make the trip at least once a year to catch a game out there and catch up with family.

I suppose....they mostly had garbage stadiums in LA before, I was never to the Dome in St. Louis so I cant comment on that.
The problem with the big fancy new stadium??....along with it generally comes the whole "experience", IE, $40 parking and $20 beers.

And it's not just the stadium it's self , there's talk that NFL.com will be moving into the building , or one of the buildings , they said there is going to be a huge movie theatre , for world movie premieres and red carpet events , and a small sporting events center next to it , they even mentions Hall of Fame West being there , although I'm not sure what that means exactly, Bon Iger might have helped with the Carson project , but the Inglewood stadium will surely be the Disneyland of the NFL

I too hope to make a trip out to LA to see the stadium in person. Gonna have to call in some favors, and crash on a couch or two, but I'd like to see it. Staples is one of the most beautiful arenas for hockey, and this makes Staples look like a generic P.O.S.

I bet parking will be 80 bucks like it is in Dallas and NE, at least for the adjacent lots.

I have heard that Inglewood is a very bad area - can anyone speak to this? I've never been there (haven't been to Cali since 1994) but work with a guy from the LA area

Ive never been all that impressed with the Inglewood stadium but then again there never really has been very many public renders or presentations out there. Its also kinda dumb to have a roof in LA.

Wonder if the casual fan will be able to afford tickets tho.

Probably not.

Looks like people will be there for a tourist attraction like Jerry World rather than a football game.

Will it have grass or fake turf?
I'm reading turf, not grass which is disappointing to me.

University of Phoenix stadium looks like a used sardine can from the outside, but they did it right inside and with the roll out grass field. I'll bet that the ONLY reason this new Inglewood stadium didn't go with a movable grass field(outside the stadium) is because that would take away square footage in terms of the shops, parks, theater, amenities and stuff. It's too bad because football should be played on grass.

It used to be, but not anymore, especially around the stadium site. That's where the Forum is, it's similar to Staples Center, there's a little bubble around it that's nice. The Coliseum is in a far worse area.

Not really, it's the same reason why they have a roof on the Arizona stadium, it gets hot as hell with the summer sun beating down on you. I don't know how you could not be impressed with the stadium though, there hasn't been some silly flythrough video, but they've had tons of pictures and various renderings of the stadium. It looks to be the best stadium in North America by a pretty good margin.

I'm excited about fact that it will be 100 ft. into the ground and with the roof it should be loud as fuck in there, no where for the sound to escape. I am worried that the kind of people that can toss the kind of coin around to actually go to the game will be willing to make that noise...

The last time I was their, The "Hollywood Park Horse Racing Track" was on the site. It was a nice place to go loose your money!!
It has been said this place will be Kroenke's Legacy, as a Land developer. For 1.8 Billion I hope so! I also hope it's named after a Ram great! Like say .. " Deacon Jones Memorial Stadium!!"(y):D
