Tentative Bachelor Party Plan...be jealous.

My brother shot me an email with his plan for my bachelor party.

01/31

-10pm – Fast Eddie’s Alton IL


02/01

-1am – Bus Call

-1:30am – Leave for Canton

-12pm – Arrive in Canton

-12pm – 3pm – Tour Hall of Fame

-3pm – 7pm – Freetime/shower

-7pm – 9pm – Dinner

-9:30pm – Bus Call

-10pm – Leave for NJ


02/02

-7am – Arrive in NJ

-6pm – Game starts

-10pm – End of Game/Bus Call Back

-10:30pm – Leave for Columbus OH


02/03

-7am – Arrive in Columbus OH

-12pm – Lunch

-3pm – Leave for home (bus drive rest over)

-6pm – Dinner

-11pm – Arrive in Alton IL


There are a few unknowns at this point (like hotel cost for driver and room for us to shower…..working on it know; parking lot fee at Super Bowl)


I hope to have a firm schedule/price per head by 12/12 or 12/13. I think it will be $400 - $500 per head without getting into details.



This is not a vacation, it's a quest. It's a quest for fun, I'm gonna have fun and you're gonna have fun, we're all gonna have so much fuckin' fun we'll need plastic surgery to remove our Goddamn smiles! You'll be whistling Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Dah out of your assholes!

Have a blast...my "best man" was snorting up the proceeds at my bachelor party. Found out about it from another friend who is a bit of a math geek. He was keeping track in his head and told me I was shorted about 3 grand.

Glad I don't have to worry about that...my brother is one of the most ethical and trustworthy people I've ever met.

my brother and I werent talking at the time...ironically it was because the crowd I was running with at the time...big brothers are almost always right !!!

He is the one that got the situation straightened out in the end

I've got a great group of friends...everyone going outside of my 2 actual brothers are fraternity brothers except for one buddy from high school. My older brother and I both went to SEMO and both joined the same fraternity...so really we all get along great and it's going to be a blast.

I was at a xmas party last night with one of my fraternity brothers thats going and he was more excited than I am. He was going on and on about the plans to someone else at the party haha. I can't wait...I just hope it isn't a Seattle/San Fran VS Patriot matchup. That will just be cruel.

My wife and I had our parties the same night. A good friend rented a huge van and drove all people to and from home.

When he dropped us last, we staggered to the door, I couldn't get my keys out, she reached in to my pocket and pulled out my torn underwear!

Well, because the person from the parking lot we talked to originally apparently had his head up his ass we got really bad info. He told us we'd be able to tailgate despite all the news we read...false. Yes, we can drink outside our bus but we can't grill or set up our TV etc. Also, we can't even get a spot unless we are all going to the game...which clearly we aren't spending the money for.

So the plans are changing...and I was hoping to get some feedback for our first thoughts of an alternative. At first we thought, then lets just find some of the Super Bowl activities/parties and do that...apparently that is scaled back this year. So now we are down to just finding a local bar party...well now, what would be the point in going all the way to New York for a day just to hang out at an over priced bar? Screw it...

So now the idea is to still start at Fast Eddies, go to Canton for the HOF...and we found a place called Gatsby's Pub, which is essentially a strip bar. PERFECT. We will go hang out there Saturday evening until it is time to meet back at the tour bus. We will pass out on the bus and wake up in Chicago. Spend the day doing whatever we want and then hit up a bar in Wrigleyville that has an all-inclusive Super Bowl party.

There has to be a huge variety of sports bars in a city like Chicago. Finding one that is having an all inclusive SB party would be a good move. Many of those kind of parties require prepayment and do sell out so you'd be wise not to procrastinate on reservations.

My only other suggestion would be to add some smokin hot, bi - sexual, expensive hookers to the bus.
