Playing off the offense one, last year Seattle allowed 282.8 total yards per game. 2nd place was New Orleans at 301.3, followed by Carolina at 302.1.

My take it/leave it question for y'all: can the Rams defense hold opponents to 300 total offensive yards per game in 2014?

My first impulse was leave it. But then I realized I was thinking back to last year's passive defense. We will stifle teams with pressure and chew up a lot of clock.

There once was a poster with a dead cat in the road avatar.
His name was dieterbrock
The cat had been squashed by a car
Or maybe he'd been hit by a rock

It would be a great goal, it has to be one of their own, but Rams ahve not done that since 2001. But Allowing under 300 yards and allowing under 300 points would be a great double-double

He should use it again. It is a classic. There's something to be said for honoring the old. Mine is the only one I've had. I think I made mine myself back when I could still see well.

I notice that you've changed yours recently yourself.

If we can run the ball like I think we will the D will be on the field even less. And if we ever play with a consistent lead, watch out.

Leave it. It just isn't how this defense is structured. We have a system in place that is built to force and capitalize on mistakes but not necessarily keep the yardage down. I think we will keep the games low scoring, especially within the division, but an average secondary is bound to bend alittle under the burden of blitzing more often. My prediction is similar yardage to last year but a large increase in fumbles, turnovers, and obviously sacks.
