I subscribed JRob and you guys are easy to listen to..but one quick comment/critique: All I heard for several minutes was general NFL opinion when I came to listen to Rams info. I am fighting the urge to turn the podcast off with 29 minutes left. Rams are mentioned at the 28 minute (remaining) point for the first time.
Listening further on, this podcast was recorded before the Marcus Peters and the Robert Quinn trades (and Tavon Austin cut), we now have cash to sign Trujo. You called him a #2 CB which I don't disagree with, so sign him? I think we can sign Joyner and Watkins AND sign Donald to a long term deal.....What you got?

Thanks bud. In a slow season of football, talking about football in general seems to be a good preface for our beloved Rammers. Clearly once things get moving it will be more Rams talk.

As far as Tru goes, I’m not opposed to resigning him for the record. But for me, a hometown discount is on order if he “truly loves the Rams”. I’m at about 12M max per season. Otherwise, let’s see what else is out there and/or draft a guy.
Joyner is the main target IMO, you have to lock him up long term. I don’t think this is even a contemplation.
Your right, releasing Quinn gives us 12M in cap and I agree with you. I believe the Rams focus on the “in house” personnel before venturing out on the FA market.
