I'll preface this by saying I don't like Ndamukong Suh, and I know the Rams won't sign him.

But could you imagine the total devastation he and Donald would cause on this line?
I just can't imagine it because I know it wouldn't happen. He's leaving the lions because they aren't going anywhere. There's also whispers that he dogs it because of it, I just see even if we did get him he'd just be our Haynesworth.

We've switched to 3-tech, nose-tackle DT lineup from left and right DT. Donald is playing exclusively 3-tech and dominating there. Suh plays 3-tech. Do you want him to play nose?

You can call them whatever you want. Both Donald and Suh are penetrative DTs who can get after the QB and plug the run game.

Long-Donald-Suh-Quinn would have a chance to be the best DL to ever play.

That said, there's no chance of it working financially if they want to invest in the offense.

I really hope that wasn't the reason. Winning reinvigorates a fan base - everything else is just smoke and mirrors.
I'm saying the reason was two-fold. We desperately needed a franchise QB(for pure football reasons)....AND to excite the fanbase.
