Yes, I know it says St.Louis but that is who they were. This offense was amazing. IMO, the greatest of all time. I never really knew how early they pulled the starters but they could have easily put up 45 ppg. If we can get half the production out of this years offense then I would be ecstatic.

Actually, I watched the first seven weeks and Holt looked like a stud. He didn't have a rookie season of 1000 yards plus because all of the weapons on GSOT. Isaac Bruce, Marshall Faulk, Az Hakim, Ricky Proel, and Roland Williams had more touches than Tory Holt in the first 6 games, He did have a couple of drops that he should have had caught. He had his first TD in his first game, and made a move on the defender for a 20 yard TD. He dropped a sure TD in Week 6 versus the Falcons.

With less weapons and increased touches, Holt would have been in the running for the OROY that year.

Funny they have a ton of that on Youtube....And older stuff too...I've been looking back when teams have made coaching changes, that years highlight for example. But they have Ram highlight films from 64 and on and you can also see how the NFL evolved once the Sabol's got involved. Before they were involved producing, some of it was very slow to watch...They have Packers vs. Rams on the 15th December back in 67 with the Rams winning on a block punt and late TD pass to win 27-24 as the GOTW.

It seemed like they pulled the starters every game. Kurt probably could have had 50 touchdown passes and Marshall's (former) record for total yards from scrimmage could have been close to 3,000.

Many fans I have come across have told me that, for me, it was the Cowboys vs Rams in October of 73, Hadl to Jackson 4 times!
