or maybe its not the scheme, but the players under performing in the scheme. Ogletree looks lost, and when he was in position to make a play, he misses what should be easy tackles. Robert Quinn may have played his worst game as a Ram today, literally running right past Lynch on at least two plays without any regard for stopping the run. And Wilson just abused him letting him run himself out of the play, and then getting to the wide open edge and and running free.

Today was the first time all season I felt like Gaines was exposed some, as he missed too many tackles which turned what should have been short completions into break out plays. That's not scheme folks, thats execution and piss poor play from the PLAYERS not the COACHING.

Bottom line, I'll take the win. TWO Penalties, NO turnovers, and ZERO SACKS allowed. Much more good than bad. Including answering with a huge TD scoring drive in the 2nd half to get it back to a 2 score game.

Count me in on the Gregg Williams is a terrible DC train, cuz 100+ rushing yards and a rush score for Wilson should be completely unacceptable!

Sorry but what you seen today is how 90% of all NFL games are won, it may because you haven't seen very many of these type of wins because it's usually our opponent that enjoys them lol.

We just knocked off the defending champs. Not every win is pretty but this one was pretty damn hot if you ask me. Think if we didn't give up a lead against Dallas and SF. If we were looking at 4-2 you would probably be stoked about this win. Maybe this is the start of some consecutive wins!

maybe I should say "consecutive" games. not getting lucky after going up big again
Come on brother. Enjoy the win. This is why football is great. It was an exciting game. The clock happen to run out while we were on top. That's just how it works.
Close games with Sf, Dallas and Philly. All good teams. This team is on its way up.

Don't watch for January. Watch for Sunday.

We took our balls out, showed them to everyone, and won. That is a W...out.

Agreed. However, there is no excitement without conflict. They go hand in hand.

I don't think you can say this single win signifies anything, they still make huge mistakes, their defense is lacking, and the offense is inconsistent. But...they did win and that beats the alternative. Look at the Cowboys...when the played the Rams they sucked and should have loss, but finding a way to win when you probably shouldn't helps teams build momentum. If the Rams can win the next two weeks, their confident will be sky high and they will find ways to improve in all facets of the game. If they lose the next two, this win is an aberration. That's why I said...Fake it..Til you make it.

How about we lose next time so people can be satisfied.

The Rams are improving, that's the thing.

Defense is getting better week by week. Two weeks in a row they've stuffed the opposing running game. They haven't arrived yet, but improvement is there.

Offense just played a very smart and safe game and got the W.

This team is getting better, let yourself enjoy it!
I am not sure we shut down the Seattle run game. We did alright but heck Russell Wilson rushed for over 100 yards today.

Got to discuss the game, right? Good stuff and not so good stuff, right? That's the fun of going to a forum about your favorite team, right?

I think never being satisfied is a good thing to have in sports. You should always have that drive that you didn't do enough that last time out, or that last pass, or that last run, or that last defended pass.

I loved the win, but still much room for improvement and I'd say I'm unsatisfied in the sense we still haven't put a complete game together yet. I'm talking 4 strong quarters.

2-4 should never be satisfying and we did fall back into our inconsistent ways BUT we pulled it off and beat a good team. I want to see if this triggers confidence in the team and more consistent play. I have to give props to our much maligned O Line for giving AD a little more time than the past couple games and not giving up a sack. The O line also seemed to open up some holes to run through. Could it be GR is jelling at a rapid rate, I don't know but maybe more than just a coincidence. I have to say I had my doubts now feed me crow GR.

But that is the point. We shut down Lynch. It took Wilson's freelancing to get them back in the game. Which doesn't let the defense off the hook, in any case.

I don't know what the OPs problem is...but I do say this. The Rams started to play "safe offense" and it almost cost them the game. What particularly disturbed me was calling a reverse on a drive that was going good in the third. That play killed the drive.

This was a good win...PERIOD!!! It wasn't pretty...BUT RAMS WIN...AND I'M .... S*A*T*I*S*F*I*E*D!!!
