Goff just feels like settling for the sake of being safe. I just want the better QB in Wentz.
Wentz just feels like reaching for the sake of pure physical ability. I want the better QUARTERBACK Jared Goff.

ND St isn't in the fbs so it couldn't win that title. They're in the fcs and have won that title. It's the second tier of college football.
kind of like division ll A, looks like.
cant see them ever defeating Bama or Auburn
train
they are in the same conference as KW;s Alma Mater, Northern Iowa,
real powerhouse conference

Train.
With respect.
1. You were unaware that NDSU was not in the FBS.
2. The discussion of competition completely missed you.
3. You are smug about getting "the snot kicked out of them", "Alabama true National Champion"
4. Do you know the basic differences between FBS and FCS?

If you knew the difference, I suspect you wouldn't place foot in mouth.

Not for nothing, Most in the sporting world recognize that winning 5 back to back National Championships at any level is remarkable.

NDSU is the only Division 1 program in history to accomplish this. No small thing.

Train. I said respectfully. I'm not going to engage in a written war of words. I will say this, It is about money, number of scholarships, school size and a schools ability to financially support a program.

In football there are different levels just like high school basketball in Iowa.

College:
BCS--Div. 1. 85 full scholarships
FCS--Div. 1.AA. 63 full scholarships
Division II
Div. III NAIA

A University like Alabama is probably 7/8 times larger in school attendance opposed to NDSU. Therefore they have more dollars to support a BCS team. These teams garner huge funds from the Media, and attending Bowl games. All support their athletic programs.
FCS Teams don't have that luxury, or the scholarships to compete.
So. In 2013 when NDSU beat Kansas (Big 12 Champion prior year) it was a big deal in the National media.
When Carson Wentz and NDSU beat Iowa State in 2014 it made National News.
During the preseason, BCS team routinely play FCS schools as a "tune up". NDSU plays those games. It so happens that they have won 5 straight games against BCS schools. In the 2015/16 season NDSU could not find a BCS team to play them.

The University of Alabama has an amazing and storied program. I would expect them to win.
Hopefully this small example lends perspective.

It is darn hard to maintain that level of excellence year in and year out when you are almost fighting with one hand tied behind your back.

You've been on the Goff train as soon as the trade was announced, here's hoping, you are right sir!
