My Dad and I took a tour of Sofi today. The Rams locker room wasn’t open for obvious reasons so we got to go in the rentoids locker room. Look at this.

Am I the only one who actually thinks SoFi is a little disappointing?

Went there a few weeks back and it was unbearably hot, the concessions were below average, it was virtually impossible to navigate around the stadium to different sections aside from the immediate area you were sitting in, and the stadium staff seemed largely clueless. Only thing that pleasantly surprised was the ease of getting in and out of the parking lots which was far easier than feared. Building itself is stunning, but did anyone else expect them to do a better job w the details of the GameDay experience or is it just me?

Overall I thought SoFi was pretty cool. The location isn't as fun as the Coliseum, and yeah the food is mediocre. But 5B can still get you a pretty nice crib.

So, I'm a longtime Rams fan. My family had Anaheim season tickets all years there. I've been to the Coliseum and the Dome in St. Louis, and many other stadiums over the years following the Rams around.

I went to SOFI for the 1st time for the NFC Championship v. 49ers.

Here were the notes I wrote just after about things I did not like about SOFI:

No Artwork. Very "bland" stadium.

View level is very high up compared to other stadiums. Hard to see players.

WIFI terrible at gate entrance. Difficult to log onto ticket app.

Seats are not comfortable. Dark blue is not good looking or cheerful. Rams sky blue would have been better.

No restaurant/bar seating

Video Screen did not show red challenge flag replays.

Sound was terrible. Could not understand what was being said in after-game field celebration and interviews

No TVs in concession stand areas to see game action while waiting in line for food or drinks.

I never understood why concessions at games were bad.
If I dropped a billion + on a stadium, Id make damn sure the garlic fries or whatever were up to snuff. That would likely entail owning the concession company as well.
In the age where in most decent size towns most weekend nights someone can go drop $10 at a food truck anywhere in town and get yummy meal.
No excuse for bad concessions at this point.

Nothings perfect but find the place absolutely amazing.

I kind of cracked up at the lack of artwork comment. The whole place is an art piece!

It can get warm there at times. Most of the time it’s just fine. I don’t judge venues like that for the food. We go there for the game. Food is better in our section this year. Leaving the stadium is total kaos.

Things will get better as time goes on. Especially after they complete the entertainment district.

GO RAMS!!!

My wife (Chargers Fan) and I took the tour right before week one last year when we were out in LA (live in Georgia). Weren't able to see a game, but we were blown away by the stadium. It is magnificent.

Well, skim through this video clip of Mercedes-Benz stadium. Tons of cool stuff to look at as you cruise around the stadium. I thought SOFI would have done the same.

I was there for the SB. Don’t recall anything than a new stadium with a roof that opened and closed in a cool way.

To each their own. I am at the stadium right now and wonder how anyone could be underwhelmed.

Enjoy the game!

GO RAMS!!!

I was only pointing out the things I didn't like with the stadium. Not that I don't like the stadium as a whole. Just making that clear.

The building is a masterpiece but for $5B they should get the whole experience right. Would like to think that generic food and uninformed / disinterested staff will improve over time but the inability for fans to readily wander around the stadium and explore different sections etc is hugely disappointing. Can't imagine why they'd design it with that sort of lack of connectivity.

Am I missing something? Have others cracked the code on navigating the stadium better?

Seeing your team win the SB at SoFi.....greatest stadium in the world.

Ive been twice and done a tour. Top notch for me.

Never waited long at all to get a beer, food on club level was awesome, and I dont really go to games for food. A dog and a modelo is fine for me.

This place will ALWAYS hold a special place in my heart. I like the EJD too.....but we never won a SB there....did win a couple NFC champs...

If you havent been to SoFi you gotta go.

Onto Tampa....
